Mine only does it in the morning. After being parked for a few hours. Then when it does pop. I can feel it under my feet. Also when the bass hits, I can feel that under my feet as well. Lol

does your do the same thing?

Almost ready for the install. Still need longer bolts for the fairlead. The ones it came with are too short. And here come the jokes....

That setup is heavier than I thought it would be. Now I'm worried about rubbing on the front tires

might need a little trim, my mistake in my winch that I made was location of remote plug since I don't trust the wireless remote but I'm relocating today.

 

You rub anyway though, I remember hearing the rubbing sound as well as the screams when we did blind mans bluff

Bad spot the plug is getting moved to the top of the bumper

 

They make an extension for the remotes for cases like that.

Edit: At least for other brands, but I did find this. You could have two plugs.

I've looked and can't find an extension for the superwinch so it's just 3 wires to cut and lengthen

 

I got the same winch! Have to take it apart soon and see what's wrong with it. Might be corrosion? I hooked up the remote and pulled my buddy out of his yard. Then had him hold the hook while I winch the cable back in. Halfway, the remote wire shorted out and burnt in half.....

Sounds like mine! We took apart the solenoid and cleaned it up with a file and some contact cleaner, works like a charm now.

Not to bad! I';ve been debating on getting the HF wireless remote and trying it out on mine.

 

If I had one of those. The winch would have burnt up lol

 

Let me know how it works, I'm just sceptical of wireless. Only wireless I semi trust is the magnetic tow light bar and you plug the receiver in the truck plug but I've had those fail.

 

Maybe I should be a better driver, spend more money on the truck and not get stuck.
