I am running the Fox 2.5 extended length in the the front, and I am only seeing about 1" of lift ( 22" hub to fender). The Fox rep says they are set for 2" of lift from the factory, but that may be for a 2nd Gen. I have 2" of tread showing. I tried to adjust them yesterday to get another 1"- jacked up the truck to take the weight of the springs , loosened the nut and used spanner wrench. That ring is Fing tight, I could not get it to move. Anyone else having issues making adjustments on the 2.5 coilovers?

Mine were super tough to turn out of the box. Basically soaked them in gun lube(CLP), put the spanner wrench on and hit it with a rubber mallet.

I was never able to adjust them on the truck. Ive removed them 3 times already to make adjustments. the reservoir hose also seem to be in the way when doing it on truck.

    It does matter.

    FYI:
The springs should be set to the necessary load (based on weight and necessary stiffness). Height can be set here. The shock's dampening should be set specifically for the spring rates.

Does anyone know if I am going to have an issue tomorrow when I install my rear Fox 2.0 RR?

If you look at the picture you'll see the braided line comes straight off the shock instead of bending downward 90 degrees.

Nope, no problem. Those braided hose lines are pretty difficult to kink. FOX designed them like this vs. using the 90 because these shocks are used for other platforms even though they are specified for Tacoma.

So new coil overs and shocks are the only thing y’all used to lift truck or do y’all also have a suspension lift?

Coilovers/shocks/struts are part of a suspension lift.

So if you did that and a 3-1 lift kit would the 2”-4” UCAs be ok?
