Correct, Donaldson is a brand. I've seen a lot of info regarding 2nd Gens running Donaldson, ARB, Enginaire, and some others. I'm just trying to figure out what size I need!

Did you just search for what size everyone is running on the Safari snorkel, or did you go off of intake measurement? Or air intake volume??

    Or magic?

Anyway, I'll keep looking around and see what I can find. I may come over tomorrow and pick your brain about the topic. We can do a research project :smash:. I asked on a couple 1st gen threads and no one gave me any feed back... mostly just kept talking about 1st gen stuff... like drop brackets and "what's the biggest tire I can fit on stock suspension"... fml.

I want to say the diameter for my snorkel is 3" (it's the Chinese version of the Safari snorkel ---> https://www.amazon.com/Wotefusi-Quality-plastic-rolling-STH167RA/dp/B00F926L5W). I'll need to measure to confirm, though.

I've looked at the ARB pre-cleaner (Part# ARB PBH000237), but want to confirm it'll fit before I pull the trigger.

Are you going 7" or 10"?

It should be 3 inch. It would be stupid if it was not but who knows what they are doing over there. You need to go with the 7 inch due to your intake and your already limited air flow. The larger one will take in more air but at a higher vacume when it is at it lower limit. I have to do the 10 because of intake diameter and volume.

    Your turn.

Okay lol trucks looking good too btw...I'm really considering going 35's when I wear these 285's out...keep weighing my options and going back and forth. Might settle with 295's as a happy medium. Is yours your DD?

Sometimes I try to be helpful in there, but for the most part it's a lost cause.

Not a clue really. I have seen people use some sort of reducer to mount a different size though.

Not interested in a precleaner, but wouldn't mind an ARB head to have the holes in the back for rain. Haven't gotten around to looking at all cause I don't care enough and it doesn't rain enough either.

I'd like a precleaner primarily for dust. I'll just have to go measure the damn thing myself haha. Thanks anyway!
