Yeah u right... now were talkin... Congrats and good luck with the new truck, pics or it didn't happen!! hahahaha :anonymous:

Let me ask a stupid question:

What's the difference between a 2016 OR and a 2017 PRO, and lets just say they both are manual tranny?

I saw some bad ass fogs and a bad ass grill cleared up rear lamps ... wheels have been around for a few years, tranny and diffs the same and same gears.. I hope a bad ass interior stain/mud/drool proof possibly? Ok... now I might be on the fence!

I'm wondering if after all the coin I spent on my 2016 sport, I'm probably in the same neighborhood price wise for a 2017 pro ... and then I'd have to get more goodies? OMG my wife would hang my balls out with the laundry.:thumbsup: It's all good.

"It's my money and I'll do with it what I please. If I want to build a fire in the back yard with it that's what I'm going to do." Mom 2014 (I talked her down on the fire thing). :dancingbacon:

Are the MT models a good deal cheaper than the AT?

They could ask me for a premium and I'd be ok with it. As long as they keep building 'em.

Not that I answered your question lol. The '16 was the same price either way so I'd assume the same is true for the pro...

Good call! Is a moonroof even offered? Didn't see the option on the pro build sheets.

I just dont understand why people pay all this extra money only to remove most of the extra parts you pay for. Like, wheels/tires and suspension.

Pro is coming with a 6MT, yes. That is a requirement for me.

Makes sense for some reasons, for instance you want the features of the offroad (sunroof, crawl control, keyless entry, etc.) but want to upgrade your suspension for more capability/looks to icon, fox, etc. and better tires for off roading the stock suck. But buying at TRD PRO and then gutting the suspension is pretty silly. Ultimately its your money, but you can buy a OR or SR5 and for a hell of a lot less make a more capable truck than the PRO but you don't get the warranty and warm fuzzies of saying you own a PRO. But I do find it funny the OP is has a 16 inferno sport, spent the money to lift it, tires, wheels, etc. which he won't get back in resale/trade no matter what he will tell you (have had 5 tacomas 3 lifted, you never get all your money invested back) to buy another tacoma? But OPs money.

That's why every part I've bought for my truck can be moved over to a pro. I like the Sema TRD wheels much more than the stock TRD Pro wheels.

The only thing that holds me back is moonroof availability. I have to have one.

Seeing that you don't get all the bells and whistles the autos get such as crawl control and that manuals are much easier to build and wire up they SHOULD be a lot cheaper... All personal preferences aside....
