    Shock nomenclature I got from ICON's website and their install directions. I wasn't quite sure what all the abbreviations meant.

    Legend:
    - 2.0 = 2 inch shock
    - 2.5 = 2 1/2 inch shock
    - VS = Vehicle Specific
    - IR = Internal Reservoir
    - IFP = internal floating piston
    - RR = Remote Reservoir
    - XT = Extended Travel
    - CDCV = Compression Damping Control Valve
    - AAL = Add-a-leaf
    - UCA = Upper Control Arm

    Yes there is not an actual thread for individuals who have Icon kits installed on their Taco. I have only seen the general lift threads and one Toytec Boss specific thread.

    There should be an icon lift thread.

    Very nice. If that is an M/T you have the exact truck I am looking to order. :)

    Did you measure how much lift you got in the front and back from stock? Any difficulty with alignment at the Icon stock settings and no UCA?

    Any comments on the how it rides compared to stock? How is the body roll on turns? How does it handle sharp bumps?

    Cool! Just got my Icon extended travel coilovers and aal from fedex today! still waiting on rear shocks and uca bolts.
    They have 1 1/4" of thread showing in the box. So how much lift should they give me right out of the box? Icon said for a 16 they come preset for 1 1/4" lift out of the box. So does that mean The amount of thread showing is the amount of lift? I have heard from others that they are 2 1/2" lift out of the box for a 16?

    I plan on leaving in the overload in the rear because I haul crap and tow a trailer some.

    Measurements looked to be about 1 1/2" to 2" with not changing icons preset. There's still 1" rake from front to back. No difficulties with alignment with stock UCAs. I actually asked another TW member Woody. Same setup with 285s for tires.

    It rides so much better than stock but stiffer. Everything is that much better in corners.

    Just gotta decide on tire size.

    Mine shows 1 1/4" of thread on Coilover. You should get more height out of box due to extended travel from my understanding.

    The 16s are already 1" lift from factory and you don't want to be more than 3" total including the 1" lift from factory or you could mess up a lot of components.

    Height of front coils prior to install 20 1/2" from center hub to bottom of fender.
    After install 23"

    4 times to the alignment shop and to get it right. CMC, inner plastic trim, cutting and chopping is still not complete but it's close.

    I cranked up the coils and no I paid for one year of alignments. I figured I would need them. Only $110 for as many as I need, no questions asked.

    I went to 1 3/4". Instructions say I could go to 2" of thread showing but I don't think the travel of the shock would be very much.

    Stock it was 21 1/2" now it sits about 22". I had the overload leaf stock. When I installed the Icon progressive add a leaf I took it out. Still have a little rake to it.
