congrats! Will be interesting to see the msrp here soon.

I had a cement pro on pre-order but dealer was fairly certain the msrp will come in between 44-45. On another dealer visit they had a dcsb offroad 6mt sitting on the lot for $36 and my business pee brain just couldn't justify the extra $8-9k (badging, leather, led fog and 2.5" shocks) so cancelled by pre-order and bought the off-road.

I'm gonna guess msrp will come in around $41-$42ish

Thanks, I'll ask my dealer since I have their promise of the first right of refusal on the first TRD Pro due to their screw up on my current 7545.

I've been waiting to order one since the press release in February. Haven't heard a peep from my dealer about it. Can I use this thread as ammo for him to get off his ass and look up some model numbers? I don't wanna miss the boat on this one cuz some dumbass car salesman and have to wait even longer (or not get one at all).

I had a 2012 tacoma regular cab 4x4 4 banger MT for 3 years I loved it! My original plan was to wait until I the 2017 pro came out to trade it in and finally upgrade... Let's just say I could resist waiting anymore and I ended up with my truck now!

If it was going to be available in Inferno, then I would be sold. Too bad.. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's pictures when they release, the Cement in particular.

I wouldn't say that, most of us know the pro comes with a sub par, expensive suspension 'upgrade' and most pro owners (on here anyway) end up swapping it out

Will the PRO come with the proper fluid levels. Wonder if the hood will vibrate. Will the Etune system stop shutting down and restarting itself.

Yeah costs less to produce should always be cheaper but the Tacoma is one of a vanishing few models of new vehicles where you can get a manual mated to the higher displacement engine, still get most of the upgraded kit, and still get 4x4. So price doesn't really factor in as I'm glad I could build what I really wanted and still get the transmission I desire.

I really hope you guys are wrong... I don't see how the Tacoma TRD Pro could reach 45k when the Tundra Pro is at 46.5k, and the T4R Pro is under 42k... Compare an OR Tacoma to an OR T4R, and the T4R is going to be higher... don't see why the same wouldn't be true for the Pro. One of you dealer employee types might be smarter on this though.

I'm still on the fence of whether I'm going to go with a Tacoma Pro or a full size. I love my Tacoma (on 3rd one), but there has been more than one occasion where a full size would have come in handy (towing capability and cab space). If the Tacoma Pro comes in at that 44k-45k range, I will most likely be pushed to the full size side.

What makes the Pro so appealing to me is that I can leave it alone. I like the looks and capabilities of the truck as it sets. I'm switching my focus and funds to modding my other toy. I guess I'm getting older, and I no longer care for the rough ride that comes with modding my daily driver. Problem with full size is I would want to upgrade suspension and wheels almost immediately. Hard to dump another 3k into a truck I just spent $45k on (at least for me). Just my $.02.

Congrats to the OP on your order! Can't wait to see it (and how much it actually set you back)!
