I'm not against 2wd trucks or even lifted 2wd trucks. There's just absolutely nothing OR about a 2wd truck. To each his own, I wasn't knocking it or anything like that. If anything I think Toyota should know better.

Yes it does, I guess I better not mention 2WD any more, it makes me feel like my truck only has one Ball!

Depends on the usage really. Apparently in the warmer dryer areas, 2WD Offroads sell like hotcakes. Baja buggy type shit where 4WD hardly matters... So it's a no brainer that Toyota would offer something that sells!

FWIW I have TRD OR shocks going on to my 2WD SR because I want a little bit more ability to handle gravel country roads, not because I think I'm gonna go ass deep an a mud bog.

Yes, I'm in San Antonio, 100's in the summer and always dry every where! I believe for sure if I ever moved up north like when I was in Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts and such I would definitely go the 4WD route but any way, it's all good!

why would you ever leave Texas for a yankee state dont you know it gets cold and those things fall from the sky that make the ground all white and cold happen ALOT lol

Been looking for someone running 255/85r16s. Are you rubbing at all? seems like the 285s all rub unless u do the CMC. wondering if its do to the width. While 255/85s are just as tall the are skinnier. Pic would be great too! thanks in advance

I want to lift my truck, but mine has a vibration when braking and I have a feeling it will get worse with a lift. Have any of you dealt with this issue?

Just a heads up for others or if you need to remove the drivers UCA for some reason. There are a couple bolts (silver in color I believe) inside the drivers wheel well you can loosen to move the brake and abs lines out of the way to avoid bending. BTW Nice truck!!

I have not but I've read some people having issues with a faulty needle bearing. I'd definatly take it back to the dealer and have em fix it. That should be warranty work without a doubt!

Thanks. I'll get that checked out, and I also plan on having the driveshaft angles checked.

I don't have the BDS kit but I have used their products on my Jeeps. I've never had a complaint and I've really never heard anything other than good things about them.

Can anyone recommend a really good and inexpensive portable hydraulic spring compressor? All of my lift parts are on order. A local off-road shop wants about $240 to assemble the bilsteins with 887 coils. If I need the setting changed, they will charge another $240. It is probably in my best interest to have a compressor. If anyone has one to sell, I might be interested as well.

Why hydraulic? You can buy a good compressor set for probably about $75 and simply use a wrench to compress the springs. Why would you need to compress the springs to change the setting though? Coil overs are new to me so sorry if that's a stupid question.
