There were 2. One to plug the trailer in with an extension cord and the other to adapt the 30a service to the regular 110 plug in. I think I left them both in there for you. Didn't I? The adaptors can be bought anywhere that has RV parts. I may have gotten them at Walmart

Happy Friday, all. Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow, so it's more like 'Happy 2nd Thursday' for me. Six days in a row! Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

Oh well. I only have to do it one weekend every other month or so, since we all share the Saturday Bitch Shift, as it's officially known.

Oh we're still on Windows 7... I have 10 on my laptop and love it for basic usage plus it interfaces with the touch screen really well.
Apparently the company thinks its a higher risk to restrict me from using my floppy to USB adapter than it is to let me use facebook.... Because oh so much data can be transferred on a floppy. I just need the floppy to upload data from a Modal test I'm doing.

Ok mountain bikers. I just started looking at bikes again and want to get a decent one next year. What should I be looking for as far as travel if I just want to ride trails in New England. You know the drill, rocks and roots everywhere. I don't down hill and I don't race. I just prefer riding bikes to get in shape over walking or jogging.
I don't want a beginner bike, I want something decent because I HAD been riding for years. I am just trying to get back into it.

I can't upgrade my work computer from 7 to 10 because there is a worry that ThinkDesign, our CAD software might not transfer so easily :/. I still have Vista on my laptop but the wifes had 8 and now has 10. I dont use my laptop enough to really bother upgrading it.

Rob, Go visit Jeff, the owner, of Milford Bicycles any Tuesday-Sunday. Tell him that I sent you in. He's got plenty of bikes that'll fit your need and he'll take good care of you.

Be on the look out for shops with leftovers too, I got a leftover in the spring for $1,200 off MSRP. Bought a Specialized Stump Jumper. Honestly, looking back I would skip the carbon and go aluminum with better components. Carbon frames save you 1 to 2 lbs at best, is it worth the 1k upcharge? That's your call. Also, being a short guy, sometimes I wish I went for the 27.5 and not the 29er. YMMV on the tire size debate though.

The other plus side is there's an awesome deli (Olivias) right down the street so you can get your fat kid on

Well, I don't have a ton of $. But it seems like most of the decent ones are going to be over 2K
I have been there in the past but not recently. I'll check them out
I went to a place near me that had a nice Specialized FSR for $1000 off right now. Aluminum frame, nice Sram components but it's 140 or 150mm travel. Is that too much for trails around here? Other problem is it's too small. It's a medium and I need a large and he's not sure he can get a large. What else should I be looking for???

I'm very familiar with Olivias. We used them for catering our wedding and baby showers. Yum!

Stump jumpers are perfect for around here IMO. The cambers are for more flat single track high mile rides. If you like to go quick through some down hill sections, you'll appreciate the SJ. You won't need the Enduro around here unless you go to Highland MTN bike park often. Also, ask them to check the factory warehouses, they had a large red one on the floor and he ordered me a medium flat black one for the same discount. (he being the guy at a local bike shop to my parents in CT)

I'm sure someone else will chime in here too, I don't consider myself to be a mountain biking expert. I just enjoy the outdoors and thrill of it.

Also, the only crappy thing about Specialized is everything is proprietary. So for instance, you're stuck with the rear shock on the SJ. No other shocks will fit.

Happy belated birthday RRG! Sorry, I'm camping, 5 day weekend! We're on a lake in upstate NY, it's awesome!

And RRG, if/when you get your Z, don't be like the driver I was pushing on the way here... If you're on a tight back road and a truck towing a camper is pushing you, you have no business driving a car like that. /rant
