Speaking of powder coating. I just picked up some handrails for a client. The are going outdoors and the house is on the beach, so we decided powder coating would be best. http://www.embeeperformance.com/ does some great work.

THANK YOU for that primer Ron. I will be doing that cardboard mock-up here, most likely, next week. I want to finally get that "chase light" mounted because Anza is coming up quicker than people think, LOL!!! I bought this damn thing a few months ago, LOL!!!

It's actually pretty damn BRIGHT!!! It is a Kawell 36W Amber/White and has a remote control to switch whatever mode you want it to do. I like it. The mode switching can be a PITA at times to choose, but... well, again, I still like it either way. It is about 7.5in across or thereabouts.

Anyways, I will definitely take pictures of the progress. I'm pretty confident that brazing will be enough as I will be using Silver Solder SS-F6 rods, once I get my hands on them. It is actually a pretty damn STRONG connetion!!! I have brazing rods already, but I need to "re-familiarize" myself with brazing rods, in general (i.e. I don't know the exact "content" of the type of rods that I have). Anyways, the video is just an example:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf6J1pmmApk

I haven't done any brazing for quite a number of years now, but I know the differences with welding and brazing and, for the most part, know when and when NOT to use brazing for a particular project/use. I'm familiar with Oxy/Ace, but want to try Oxy/Pro since propane is a bit cheaper and easier to "find" to refill the tank... find someones BBQ and I'm all set, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Thanks again Ron and it was a VERY NICE CHAT INDEED!!!:fistbump::cheers:

For those working the Amazon T nut slots make sure you only use them when you need them. They corrode quickly and will stain your rails if you leave them installed.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Has anyone replaced their lca bushings? Hoping they are the reason for extremely loose steering. Replaced the rack a year ago, intermediate shaft is good, can't figure out why the sudden play in steering.

Always good to see you Randy and for it being kinda last minute we made it happen!:thumbsup:Diggin that light!I know we talked about it but i hadn't seen it!I like the rectangular shape!

I remember braze welding in school! We dipped the rod into the flux though!Be sure to use the rods that you plan on using because it will be much easier for you!Like we talked i'm not familiar with the propane procedure way of doing it but as long as you have the heat i'm sure you'll be fine!Make sure it's not cold heat though or the supposive solder strength will fail!

Talk soon Randy and thanks again!:hattip:
