This will be my first time out to this 14th Annual Toyota Takeover. It's hosted by Northeast Toyota Crawlers and there are going to be vendors/sponsors, so there's going to be a nice raffle of stuff. You don't need to be a member of the club. The only fee is the daily use fee at the off road park.

It's on a long Friday - Sunday weekend on July 29-31. It's at the well known Rausch Creek Off Road Park. If you look at their website, it looks pretty cool. Lot's of trails from beginner to death defying. There's free primitive camping within the park, or there's camping/cabins with more amenities just outside the park. There's a lot of touristy stuff in the area because Hershey Park is in the same area.

I met a couple new local friends through TW and we're caravanning together either late Thursday/very early Friday and head home Sunday late afternoon/evening.

NTC has a nice Prep List and a Mandatory Equipment List.
The three of us are excited about this trip and are feverishly getting our trucks ready.Trail ready tires, winches, air compressors. CB radios, fire extinguishers. The whole kit and caboodle.

If you're gonna do this @Bluegrass Taco , I'd be honored that you and your friends be part our group for all or part of this adventure.

The price wasn't too bad online at Treaddepot.com. $201 ea minus $40 instant rebate, so net $191 ea for four. Freight was the same $147 for 4 or 6 tires, so I bought 6.

I checked at all the local tire shops and no one had them in stock or even able to order from their distributors.

FYI i ran into what i think is a pretty good deal yesterday so i thought i'd pass it along. for alot of you this is impractical due to location. 4 brand new 17x7 trd black wheels 3 still in their boxes $650 that's almost 200 less than on ebay

We have a group of Tacoma owners from Central Kentucky and Central Tennessee that do a number of runs over the course of the year. I'm going to toss this out to them and see if anyone is interested. I'd like to have someone traveling from the same general area in case there's a problem....Let me see what I can muster up!

Another really good tire that's NOT too expensive is the Mastercraft MXT. It's a Cooper product, sold through service shops mostly. It'll probably be the next tire I'm going with (285/75/16's) I like my Duratracs, but want something "different" next go-round.

Good Morning or afternoon whichever coast you're on alsov everyone have an enjoyable TGIF !!!

Here's the header that is the correct one for my application . I really like the TRI Y design with high flow merge collectors . This design should make a very nice exh note and can't wait to install it

Looks like temps here are on the warm side for the next few days with today's temps nearing 105 degrees
