Ordered my all terrain's today. I'm pretty excited.

If anyone is looking for 17's I'll have a decent set of General Grabber AT2's available soon :) 265-70-17

I had been wanting them for some time. I love the Grabbers too, they are actually very similar.

Looking to drive through LA in June (headed to Florida for 5-6 weeks of school) and possibly staying overnight in Baton Rouge. Any recommendations on safer areas of town near good bars/food?

Considering New Orleans as well, but unsure of where to stay other than near the French Quarter and between hotel/parking that is way too pricy for me (talking in excess of $250 + another 30-50 for parking for one night)

Other option was driving through Jackson, MS but last time I was there felt like I was gonna be mugged.

Suggestions? Timeline would put me down there around dinnertime on June 10th (friday night).

Just an opinion of mine. When you get to Baton Rouge, instead of taking I-10 south head east on I-12 and save some time and you will have a lot of better choices for safe hotels.

There are some hotels off seigen lane that are a stones throw from food and bars.

As far as a true downtown BR experience there are a few options for hotels. Not sure on price though.

It depends on when you're coming through and what you want to do while you're in town. You may be able to catch some collegiate baseball if LSU Hosts a regional or Super Regional

The Super Regionals start on the 10th so if LSU ends up hosting and you're a baseball fan I'd stay at the Staybridge on Nicholson. It's across the street from the stadium

Yes it's very dead in here. If you have a FB check out Cajun Yotas. What part of the state are you moving too?

From there you won't be too far from Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer TX which is pretty good off-roading

There's plenty of places from what I see people post on FB. This is kinda dead though. Barnwell Mtn has an annual Toyota only event.

Not many wheeling places in the swamplands... Gotta head up north as previously mentioned here. But then again, ain't many Cajuns up there round the "mountains". So that's why it is dead in here... Now, if you put a taco motor in an airboat then we in business t-boy.
