    soooooo....this happened last night....
    image1.jpg
I have recently told myself that I can't watch TV/netflix unless I do it on my treadmill.....most of this is just brisk walking at an incline while I watched on my iPad. Usually my #sweatflix sessions are 3-4 miles.... but last night (via suggestion from one of my best friends and him saying the most recent episode was the best episode of any show in the history of TV....) I decided to jump on the Game Of Thrones bandwagon...soooo I watched a lot...thus the over 6 miles LOL...aaand I kept watching after that. Its been on my list to start watching for a while now, just haven't pulled the trigger. I'm digging it so far:D I'm ok with the extra cardio/calorie burn though...Vegas soon...need to ramp up my workouts! :curls::benchpress::militarypress::muscleflexing: need to be able to rock that bikini! LOL Almost ate Pizza yesterday and fucked it up - but @dwalden2 gave me a good tip on how to say no...soooo thanks!

Speaking of Netflix, the wife and I are moving into a new house Aug 1 and there's no available internet there yet. We have ATT UVerse right now and I love it, but it's not available 2 miles down the road where we're moving. I've looked at every option: Charter, Comcast, Verizon, etc. and we're just not going to be able to do cable internet...DSL ins't even available...the only downside to living in a rural area.

The best thing I've found is a bundle where you can do Dish Network tv and satellite internet. Of course, satellite internet isn't that great, but it's our only option right now. I know we won't be able to stream (which is how we watch 99.9999% of our shows right now), so we're just gonna get the satellite internet for browsing and then we'll have to just watch regular satellite tv like barbarians.

    Thoughts?

I've had directv for the past ~4 years and I was a big fan of it. More recently the weather had really started affecting my signal and I'm starting to not like them as much. They've also gotten pretty expensive. We are up in Dec. so I may not renew...

Our internet is through Time Warner (owned by Comcast now) and I hate them too. Our modem is forever getting bogged down and I have to unplug it and give it the ole' 10 second reboot. I've bought nice equipment too but anytime I call the they tell me I need to to upgrade my equipment. I. Hate. Time warner...I saw a uverse truck do a drive by the other day and I called them immediately to see if I could switch but they still aren't in my area. Google fiber is also supposed to be coming. I'd pay double for any other provider but there are literally none on my street...

As far as satellite internet I've heard it's slow for downloading and my recent experience with weather would really make me question it. Don't you play online video games? You can forget about that if you go satellite...

Have you looked at getting something from your cell phone provider (Verizon, att)?...you should be able to get a hot spot off them or be able to turn your phone in to one. That cost less than most of the Internet providers and as long as you have good phone service in the area you'd be getting the Internet just as well...

    Wow..that was a long post...TL;DR just don't read the first 2 paragraphs

Not yet but they are coming...or so it says...

I've only ever had time Warner for Internet and through all my apartments and houses I have lived in I've always had issues with getting consistent speed. At least once a week I have to unplug everything and reset it

Lol - well we only pay for 50mbps but my modem can do up to 100 if I upgraded my service with them. I bought all my own equipment so I didn't have to pay their lease fees.
