I think it would have been maybe a $2000 difference at most. I figured screw it, the truck is there now, it had came in 2 nights before and I was the only one who drove it besides the unloader/dealer. The LB will also be a bit nicer than the SB for my uses so I'm happy with it.

Ha, ya it was a bit rough. I financed through Toyota to get the College rebate. I start a new job with a bank next month so I'm going to refinance and hoping they'll be able to get me a lower rate.

I saved around 2500. It was worth imo and would do it again. I do IT work for a local dealer and they made it sound like giving me $500 was a huge favor. Saving the money was worth the time. I took a couple of vacation days and got a cheap flight.

Also I'm assuming the drive took around 13 hours.. I know in the manual it says don't drive high speeds and maintain same speed for long periods of time in the owners manual.. any issues with your vehicle?

Ehhh. It was fine. I didn't drive the same speed thanks to the awesome cruise control. I had low trans fluid but had it filled. It was a little over a half quart low

    How much us your tax?

I don't have tech. We bought it in December when everyone wanted one. Took 3 months to even find the truck. It was 500 off msrp and no TDA, which was a good price back then. Only about 800 more than what people are paying around here now

dont haven't figured out exact tax but our sales tax here is 8.25% on normal every day stuff i assume its the same for a truck?

my price is 35,101 + TTL = 37,7xx *dont remember exact amount* i'm picking mine up this week sometime i'll post pictures of everything when i get mine. i'm still trying to get it down cheaper since this is the 3rd car i've bought from the same sales guy i'm trying to get paint protection free and the tint free and some oil changes. Figured they wont budge much more than that since i ordered my truck March 2 and just now taking delivery of it this week.

    4x4
    Convenience Package
    Dark Wheels
    All weather floor mats
    Tow Package
    Wheel Locks
    Leather Owners Portfolio
    Exhaust Tip
    MSRP $32,250
Price $28.5k plus t&t, minus $12k for my 07' FJ (a deal in my opinion!)

I didn't know it was possible to build an SR to an MSRP of 32,250!! That's almost as much as an OR or Sport!

It depends on what your fj was worth. Dealers like playing games by discounting price of the new truck and giving you marginally more for your trade but still not private party sale prices.

8.25% is our sales tax but vehicles are taxed at 6.25% here in Texas

It was an 07' Yellow 6 speed with 135,000 miles on it. Orig Clutch, Suspension. I think $12k was a good deal on my half.
