What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I had never heard of them before either until I saw them on here and figured for $200 or less it was definitely worth a try and I'm damn glad I did

 

I don't see a Taco to put all that stuff on so I should be able to make it by morning. PA is a long haul from MO but I think I can do it.

Oh wow that sucks! Lol hopefully mine last a little longer lol. I know there are better LEDs out there but alittle more expensive but I figured for only 20$ I'll give them a shot.. But yeah if they start flickering I'll just look into getting the better quality ones.

 

I used the bracket i made for my 2nd gen. made it out of some 1 1/4 x 1/8 flat stock. I did have to trim some of the headliner, and plastic console support to get it to fit. Side note, my 3rd gen does not have as much room between the mirror and headliner as my 2nd did. maybe because i have the sunroof...

Thank you! So far i love it! This thing soaks up the bumps like riding on a cloud! I will be getting a set of Dakars in the future though. They were fantastic on my 2nd gen, and i could use the extra height, as well as load carrying ability!

That's gorgeous! I'm super jealous! Another one of my dreams is taking a 2JZ and putting it in my 91 pickup. But that'll never happen. Haha.

 

Dipped my grill and added the Apex/Cali Stealth LED Light bar and mounts from @MojaveMadman

 

Put a lid on it.

Next is tracks and bars.

Then a stealth light probably from Cali-raised

The back ones are more or less the same set up as the WeatherTech ones (never had the OEM Mud Flaps so I can't compare, but I imagine they are very similar to the WeatherTechs), except that there is a spacer between the wheel well and the mud flap on the inside most screw since the mud flap doesn't joggle back with the wheel well.

On the front ones the instructions have you cut out a little section (clearly marked on the mud flaps) for better clearance. You can see it in the first picture pretty well, it is the section that is between the outside screws and inside screw that hugs the bottom of the fender flares (looks like a "C" on its side). That allows the mud flap to sit almost exactly flush with the wheel well.

Sure man, it's a Avid Off Road front bumper guard. I bought it slightly used off of another member for almost half the price of it is new. It's pretty strong, way stronger than any bull bar. It takes about 15 mins to install it and it was simple! I'll post some pics of it and how it mounts and a link where to get one! It bolts to the factory bumper support and 1 bolt on the bottom of the bumper. No question is a dumb question man, I'm here to help and answer any questions I can!

I don't know about that! I can say that it handles way better than stock though. no more soggy suspension, and nose dives with moderate braking!

 

I had mine installed yesterday and had similar problems. Most likely your harness, like mine, has multiple shorts or poor connections. We had to basically splice and re-crimp several parts of the harness to get the lights to work. The harness provided with this light bar is a POS. Very frustrating install. What should have taken an hour took 2.5 hours due to the harness issues.
