Again, I avoided them because of what I heard from the group I roll with. I haven't had any of their products on my truck.

EDIT: Acutally I lied! I have a used pair of their UCA's on my truck. I totally forgot about those since they are second hand. They have been great although All pro hasn't been much help at letting me know what the specifics are on their uniball. I'd like to be able to order replacements locally but I understand that they make no money in doing that. Oh well, I guess I'll have to pull the uniball at some point and measure the part myself.

From my understanding it was really hard to get quick answers back when there were problems. I know another guy has a story he won't even tell but the fact that he paid big money for an All pro bumper only to toss it after a year for a Demello... that scared me right off. Especially when Pelfreybilt seems to have both the quality and the customer service perceived advantage right now locally.

In either case, as it relates to this bumper, it's quite a deal regardless of support. I mean if you pay half you should expect half the support. If that's not the case then I will be very interested, just for my own curiosity, as to how the bumpers are made in order to come up with such a low price.

Unfortunately one bad experience out does 10 good ones. More people voice their opinions after a bad experience than a good one. I wouldn't buy an All-Pro product now just because of the bad experience the other TW member had(sorry forgot his name).

FWIW, I have an AllPro bumper and have been happy with the quality, and was pleased with their customer service when I ordered it, albeit like 3 years ago.

My point in showing that other thread was in no way intended to talk about AllPro's quality or customer service, but moreso to show that he was saying AllPro contracts out their bumper manufacturing to California.

Hard to believe it would just be a confidence that the name and location matches...

    Carry on,

I'd be placing a bet that All pro has contacted their third party manufacturer to figure out what's up.

Yup, I had all all pro on my truck and now, all i have left is the sliders.
There is a reason and left a long lasting impression with me.
    Not complaining just stating.

If this bumper is legit, it would be a cheaper option for most people.
check the welds and let us know what the verdict is

So they look like All-Pro bumpers we get that, if y'all had bad experience with them make a different thread on it. OP was just giving a heads up if y'all wanted some...

Actually this has been a pretty random thread up to this point. OP was originally looking for opinion on ordering these bumpers right from the beginning:
Given that a few members here and elsewhere have had problems with the original Allpro product, and the way OP phrased things, it's perfectly within the topic of this thread to talk about the quality of the original product since the two products appear to share the same design and possibly more.

    Y'all.

Pelfreybilt is "local" because they are A) Family owned/operated. B) Tacomaworld members. C) Actively involved in the off-road community and support the Tacoma/Toyota groups that many of us associate with. D) They are very down to Earth, cool people. E) Made in the USA.

Do any of us have any clue who this eBay seller really is? Where their stuff is made? Do they have ANY affiliation with TacomaWorld, Toyota groups, Tacoma groups, etc? It was stated by others early in this thread that the bumpers on eBay appeared to be knock offs of another legit manufacturer's product.
