Easy to build if....You have a machine shop for the stamped reciever. It has to be drilled, folded and heat treated. If you go milled or complete reciever you still need special equipment for the barrel and front and rear end. With a barreled reciever it's easy to install parts. Actually the best route is just to buy the model that you want. Then do the tackticool stuff.

it was a '15. They said the '17 should be out in October, but I'm sure it'll be hell finding one

Yeah I loved it. It was weird because everything looks identical on the inside, but it drove so much differently. I liked the way it drives better than my Off-Road. IDK if it's the suspension or what. And the exhaust sounds bad ass.

I wonder if it would even be worth it to get the Pro, when I could upgrade the stuff on my current truck. They are trying to rip me off on my trade-in anyways...

Yeah that's what I'm thinking about. I've been drooling over the TRD Pro's ever since they came out and was going to buy one, but I could never find one - which is why I went with the Off-Road. My wife has been wanting the TRD Pro 4Runner (in the orange color), but she ended up liking the Trail Edition better.

They only offered me $25,000 trade-in for my truck - which sucks. And they want $34,500 for the Pro. I think I'm better off just buying a new suspension and all to put on my Off-Road. Plus I only have like 2 years left on my current loan....

Are you planning on leaving the pro stock? Never lifting or upgrade suspension.. bumpers? Sliders? If so.. keep what you have.. at the end of the day it's just a tacoma once you strip the suspension and exhaust.. the other things you can buy to make yours a pro.. eBay and dealership sell the emblems

That's what I was thinking. I love the Pro...but at the end of the day I think I'd rather build mine up how I want it.
