de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
I really missed the intermittent wipers on my 2012 a/c. - only had fast & stupid fast mode.

hA ha I didn't want to be the only poor tenter out there. It is a good price I thought after researching these for a while.I like the awning that the napier has,so I bought some awning type material at a discount store for 4.99 a yard and some heavy duty clamps and I think(pray) that I can clip it to that last round pole on the tent and take a grommet tool and make my holes at the end for poles to stand up on ground. So I just got the tent it shows up a lot faster than it says it will and I am in Maine.I want to set it up this weekend and see if my theory of the awning works.Pics to follow.

I have an old tarp I use for the same purpose, and will here too. For the other end I have some old tent poles I found at a yard sale years ago for a couple of bucks.

I love the keyless entry and pushbutton start.
I love the fancy interior and all the features.
I love how quiet and smooth the ride is.
I get decent gas mileage for a V6 4x4 truck.
When I first saw the '16 body style. I absolutely hated it. Now.....I think it's the best looking Tacoma there is!

    Soooooooo many cupholders.

I just put all 6 of my beers in the cupholders around me, its so much safer not having to reach into the box every time now.

Our rain is over except for maybe one or two light storms that will come through in late july, early august. Then we have to wait unitl November or December for more rain

I love that it fits in my garage. Full size trucks have become so large that they don't fit in a typical garage without taking up 2 spots. I traded my 2013 F-150 for my 2016 Taco for this very reason.

Do they all come with heated mirrors? I had the fully loaded TRD Sport with DCLB, JBL Audio Package, Tow Package, Sun Roof, ect. But I never noticed heated mirrors. Maybe I'm missing something?

The steering wheel is something I like. It feels solid and substantial and the leather wrap is smooth like butter. You can feel the quality in it.

I love the wireless phone charger as well. Toyota is ahead of the game in that regard.

Also, I dont use the Entune app but I pair with my phone via bluetooth and its fantastic (and pairs quickly). The handoffs are clean, my podcast app picks up right where it needs to, etc.

The big modern screen is also great.

i forget from when I test drove it, but are you referring to comfort turn signals where a push down with no lock is a 3 flash for lane changes and a lock will keep it on for a full turn?

I cant remember if it had comfort turn signals or the annoying ones that BMW used to use where you touch it and it will continue to blink until you turn.

I'll tell you one thing I wish it came with, a rear window defroster. Matters a lot here in the great white north. But otherwise from when I test drove. I like the steering wheel, windows, heated side mirrors and seats, sunroof and the overall interior.

One of the reason I've waited for the third gen is because I felt the interior of the older gens was so bland. almost cheap feel and look. much happier with the new one. Few more months and I'll be ordering a 2017. Hopefully all bugs are sorted out and I should have enough money saved for a 30K down payment
