OP has a white TRD Sport Prerunner.

Truck in eBay pic in white TRD Sport Prerunner.

    Both have California Plates.

    Same truck?

Edit: also says he has 5100s.

I can see your point...but I did read early on in the thread that the OP lives locally in so cali. So that not unrealistic for him to get it so fast. Also there was mutiple links on jeep forums from this company selling to people for years with no issues. Guess I'm just hoping this is not another screwy ebay company.

Maybe we've gone so far down the rabbit hole, OP is secretly JB700 peddling overseas ripoff bumpers to make enough money to eventually show us $30k in cash Toyota paid to "buyback" his Tacoma and complete his lie.

Shocks don't affect your ride height, but your ride quality. Leaf springs affect your ride height (and quality, I'm sure)

I understand the dynamics of it, but I rarely read of people on here who go through the effort of installing them without gaining any lift from it.

Oh, gotcha. Yeah I don't know. I suppose anything is possible! It's much more common to see poorer parts that do provide lift!
