I like the Bosch books I've read, I just wish there weren't a hundred. I liked what I watched of the show but don't have the urge to finish it. If Mickey is in some episodes, I'd want to see that because The Lincoln Lawyer is my favorite Connelly book.

I finally watched Deadpool last night and enjoyed it. I don't usually like those types of movies because the vast majority comic book movies take themselves too seriously. But this was genuinely funny and over the top action was delightful. I was expecting the movie to be an hour and a half of titties and torture due to the amount of attention that was garnered by the 'R' rating. It was only the usual amount of rated R'ness.

Well I watched Pride + Prejudice + Zombies, my brother said it was good but he is gay so I wasn't sure. It actually was good though. It's kind of the perfect date movie, it's your typical period love story but it has enough action to be keep us guys occupied. At first the concept was ridiculous to me but halfway through I thought it paired well together. Still more a chick flick but I could see myself owning it and will buy for sure. Just my opinion, I'm a sucker for zombie movies though.

I read the book some years ago when it came out. The zombie aspect took a boring novel(in my opinion) and made it a fun read.

I've been on the fence about checking it out or not...

Another little known zombie movie that I really enjoyed is "A Scout's Guide to Surving a Zombie Apocolypse." I wrote it off at first but then saw some good reviews on it so I gave it a shot and actually laughed quite a bit...

I thought it was a laugh as well. Also on recommendation was an Aussie zombie flick Wyrmwood. It was funny and good as well. Plus they Zombiefy a Hilux.

Nice - that one is on Netflix. I added it to my watch list

Another one I just remembered is Warm Bodies. It's got that chick-flick vibe but I really liked it. The zombies are kind of vampire-ish (sort of like the creatures in I am Legend) but I still count it as zombies...

Got me curious...rented it on Amazon. Nice use of a nail gun.

Really enjoyed Zombieland - The rules are funny - Rule #32: Enjoy the Little Things ...

Anyone see Zombie Strippers? Not a good performance by Robert Englund, but you don't watch it for that! An edited version was recently making it's rounds on late night cable vision, but the uncut version is betta.

I recently watched "The Newsroom" series through Amazon Prime. Its 3 season (really 2.5...3rd season is 6 episodes). Easily the best TV show I've ever watched. Its serious enough, yet with humor and drama to keep you hooked.

Great show - my wife and I got hooked when it first started. I wish it was a longer series. So smart
When I first saw the trailer I thought it looked so dumb but then I saw read more stuff about it and saw her making her late night talk show rounds and now I'm really interested in seeing it
Looks awesome, I've always liked MM.

I agree and thought I saw every angle they could think of to make me interested in this genre, but this Zombie movie was awesome, especially the beefed up Hilux truck.

A movie I would recommend and was better the second time I watched it was called, "Hidden" (2015). All I can say is it will keep you on the edge of your seat, with a great cast, excellent acting, so it's well worth checking out.

    Here is the trailer:

Don't waste your time watching the new Independence Day film. The best part is the credits. Some extra or something had the last name Poon

This was good but I thought the pace was a bit slow. Also didn't care for the ending much.

I didn't have high hopes for this one.
