Haha this is crazy... So like I said mine will be here Wednesday... If its coming. If I'm getting scammed, I'm calling the president. But I have tracking info for a very very heavy package.
I also reference AP in a email to them asking if installation instructions would be similar. Hoping he would say something that implied they are connected to AP. His reply "I'm not sure of what the bumper would be similar too but if it looks close probably good chance the instruction would work".. Maybe I'm reading into it, but he implied the AP instructions will work, which again points fingers to AP copy.

Unless he is logged out he isn't aware of the progress unfolded. He posted that he received the box and everything looked great and would be out of town until Sunday. Hasn't been logged on since.

I don't think anyone is questioning the bumpers, I think they are legit and would still buy one at that price, but I want aluminium.

I question the OP's procedure and motive in this whole thing. If they are AP bumpers and the two had a falling out, why not come out and say it forthright.

It is then up to the individual buyer whether they want to support the seller and take ridicule for it or not. To play oblivious to it all, is deceptive and shady.

That's my take on it anyway. I've called out the only scammer I had to deal with, I don't think this is a scam, just a possible case of dirty business practices.

I wouldn't be alarmed by that email unless he stated some were coming off the line in the near future and to check back in a week.

I've questioned a seller and been referenced to another brand that fits my need before.

I know. That's why I asked. But the response referencing All Pro was interesting. Thought I'd add that tidbit seeing there was a lot of questions concerning all of the questions. Seeing it won't work for me as I'd want one that works with the factory hitch I'll unsubscribe - can't really add anymore to the thread (at least anything meaningful not that I already had). :D

i hear ya on that. I know I'm going to get crap for not going with a reputable brand like pelfreybilt... I honestly wish i could afford one of those amazing bumpers. I would kill for one. but i just cant afford it right now. This option presented itself, yeah I'm probably going to get crap for getting a cheap knock off. and I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". But I'm an entry level off roader, trying to get more into it. This cheaper bumper was a perfect option for me. knock me if you want, call me what you want. but for now, I'm gonna go with the cheaper option. but i think we can hold the criticisms till i get the bumper and see if its garbage or now. we shall see soon!

Don't let the "you can't afford my truck" crowd get to you. I have never paid full price for any of my brand name armor. I always wait for the sales through my local guy which also saves me most of the shipping. People just love think they are special for buying something expensive. Kind of like the TRD Pro and third gen crowd.

Return shipping on your dime...nice profit. Pretty sure OP posted that there'd be no fee to return if defected but deleted it.

Almost all bolt on bumpers could use the same instructions. So I don't see anything off about that. Also the reference to the all pro hitch doesn't alarm me either, as obviously the factory hitch won't work
