Cheap Bumpers on eBay!!

they probably are the ones fitted to cut for ap. decided to sneak a few bumpers out for some $$$. Like i said, dirty business and not the first on tw.

I am very curious of the results when it arrives. You are either getting the exact bumper AP sells minus the logo, or the one in the ebay add is a special ordered AP bumper without the logo cut out for the purpose of this thread.

Does it state that was the shipper?

knock offs suck for the original producer but its always bound to happen. ebay is full of knock offs. just have to know what to get and what not to touch. i been through a fair share of knock offs and most stuff from china are legit. if bumpers check out from the current purchasers, im sure itll be a hot item on here at half the price.

 

I'm betting there are others as well. Got to page 12 and thought they better get one before they sell out or price hike. Got to page 21 and thought oh shit, I wonder if I can cancel.

Dude, have you not been seeing what's happening? The guys who ordered these bumpers are most likely getting an "Allpro" bumper as it is looks like it's coming from the people who fabricate it for them. People keep mentioning chinese knock off, but it looks like they they will be getting an Allpro bumper without the logo cut-out.

 

Jarhead's always trying to save a buck. SemperFi! That's how I do it. One of the main reason's that we are on TW is to save a buck and do it ourselves. We have done it all from oil changes to S.A.S (solid axle swaps) in our garages so a no name brand bumper is no big deal. Looking forward to install pics.

 

Which has me wondering why AP hasn't had more to say. Just stopped by and said, nope not us, looks like us though.

All Pro utilizes a separate high clearance hitch for their rear bumper. It's not integrated into the bumper itself like some of the other options. I think the seller was saying he'd need AP's hitch if he wanted one.

 

Probably because OP is the manu for their bumpers trying to sell them himself for $ so Tracy like she is can't do anything about and still won't hit my DMs up.

 

i know man. im just saying. well maybe they shouldnt have contract out their work. they make great products. why would you contract out your stuff and leave room to ruin your rep. assuming that this all is true..

 

Yeah, unfortunately, I don't think we will ever find out if this is 100% true. I have had only good customer service from them and this won't stop me from doing business with them again.

 

Honestly I hope this is the case. Same bumper as all pro, without the logo, much cheaper.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of logos

 

Props to the OP for the ballsy advertising. Not everyone could pull it off. I love a good case of deception.

What if All Pro told there manufacturer to sell them separately on eBay and only tell Tacomaworld. Maybe it is All Pro's way of giving back. A Chinese group buy.

this is true but my ap as well can be fitted to mount the oem trailer hitch i tested it before i installed the ap hitch behind the plate.

 

thats when you know you are getting a deal, when the chinese are lining up to spend some $$$ lol j/k

 

A part of me wants these to be real all pro bumpers...but the other 90% wants it to be cardboard spray painted black with hot glue welds.
