Tint definately helps in the summer. Rain guards help too for leaving the windows opened a little for air flow.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
It's Texas and I drive a black truck. I'm screwed no matter what.

Very hot in Alabama...I hope the tint keeps the truck cooler and saves the interior from the sun .....doors are legal tint and rear window 10%....! Was not sure about extra strip on the wind-shield.....helps keep the sun out of my eyes when driving...!!!

    Nothing noteworthy
Just got the windshield tinted as this was the only piece of glass on my truck that wasn't tinted. I have to say it makes a difference in the temp (and also to my dash) as the UV rays are also blocked. Love me some tint!

Did your reg cab come with those white fender flares, rather than the standard gray?

One of the best things I've ever done was put tint on all my vehicles. Can't and won't drive one of mine again without. And I don't even live in an unbearably hot state. Couldn't imagine how bad it would be in Texas or Florida.

Had 20% installed on mine all the way around about two weeks after buying, even did the strip across top of windshield.

Not a Tacoma.. but I thought this would give yall an idea, this is my buddy with ceramic limo tint on his windshield, and 3 layers of limo on the doors. If you look closely he has 2 of the layers cut out so he can see his mirrors...honestly it's too much for me.
