Yw brother. Thx for the inspiration for my build. I used Rat Worx for my AUG build, wish there was more for the Tavor.

I do plan on upgrading the stock to either a McMillan A4 or A5...still undecided.

Really? Good to know. I'm gonna pick up my Glock 30S next week under Blue Label, was torn between the 36 and 30S, decided on the 30S because of the capacity. Any $.02?

Ive owned both. Carried both for about 3-4 yrs starting first with the M30 years ago. Switched to the M36 a few years back, carried it religously. The only issue i had was the constantly reloading magazines on range day. Sold it and moved on to the M29, 10mm for daily carry and the M40 mos, 10mm for hunting.

Sold both. The M29 and the M30s are pretty close in weight. Bulky imo.
Kicked myself for ever selling my M36 and picked another one up when i bought my Tavor and ACR last week.

Imho, i would rather sacrifice and carry an extra +1, 7 rnd mag in a pouch or my pocket for my 36 than carry the extra bulk and weight of a doublestack 30s. And im not a small guy at 6', 190 lbs.

In conclusion.. the M36 fits me perfect. Weight, fit, countour of my bianchi iwb holster and powerfull enough of a handgun that i can put it in a owb blackhawk serpa and use as a pack gun when im fishing/hunting here in the mts of SC and not worry about any of our local wildlife.

Great info, thanks so much for posting. I think I'll do a thorough hands on comparison next week at GT Dist. And hey let's be honest, I'll probably end up with both eventually, just depends on which one I pick up first

If you go with the M30, be prepared to get the +0 pinky extension. Your pinky will most likely sit inbetween the small groove where the magazine fits in the well.
Its uncomfortable to shoot when its pinching the skin of your pinky every round and leaving blood blisters. Its a known issue with the 30sf.

Hey thanks brother, any tip helps. I'll definitely keep that in mind. The more I read now and get input from others, I'm leaning heavily towards the 36. 6 + 1 of hard hitting .45 ACP stopping power is a good number of rounds for CC and EDC

I received a letter from the NRA on upgrading my life membership to
Patriot at the endowment level for $250, regular $1000. Not sure if the only reason
to do it would be to get more money to the NRA so they can do
their thing. Includes a lapel pin, certificate and name in the
Patriot Hall of Honor at the NRA headquarters atrium and a nice ranch jacket, or
as I seen one guy say, a shoot me first coat, lol. I usually decline the gifts so the
    money stays with them
