honestly, the only derp on my truck is my rear bumper and emblems. Everything else is actual paint.

I used to have much more.. Only 2 emblems left and the front valence. Those are staying though. So glad I got rid of those derped wheels.

 

The only derp I have on the truck are the emblems on my doors that are white. And they've been derped for 2 years now

I decided not to go with the 255's. Can't really afford it right now. I'd rather have 285s anyway so i'm just going to save up.

I finally found some coil cleaner at Home Depot that was labelled safe for automotive radiators. It's called "AC Safe". There was a HVAC repairs guy in there and I asked him about it. He said a lot of new home HVAC units have aluminum, plastic, and rubber just like car radiators so should be just fine. He did however reiterate that even though the can said rinse was optional, it's not really optional. Make sure to get it all off.


It was impressive to see the foaming bring out mud that my previous Dawn cleaning didn't get. A bit of a pain to get the can in to spray everywhere. Had to loosen fan shroud. Pretty sure if I had another can it would get more stuff out still.

 

found a local salvage yard with a 2013 baja tacoma (DCSB 4x4, automatic). I'm going out monday to pilfer some stuff. If you want me to get something for you, just ask and I'll check the condition for you. (wheels already gone, headlights are mine)
