Finally decided I needed an antenna again, but the stock one was way too long. I cut it to about 14" long then tossed a couple
layers of paint on the tip.

Been a good weekend so far. Got my winch wiring and controls rerouted and pretty much finished the installation. Got my fog lights hooked up. Pics are over on my Elmer thread.

That's cool that you were able to make those sensors fit. I bought new ones when I switched out from Steelies.

Installed my first ever muffler. I spent way too much time at my local Canadian tire and ended up buying a magnaflow 14325
Stainless so I had to clamp the shit out of it but I looks clean enough. tmp_26342-20160625_192547_HDR1760233860.jpg tmp_26342-20160625_192551_HDR-1935102409.jpg Had to push it up to get the clearance I wanted.
Motherfucker sounds NICE! Deep tone, no drone and lots of vroom! tmp_26342-20160625_192459_HDR400301890.jpg Tried it dumped behind the axle but it was too annoying so I just ran it with the full length of pipe.
tmp_26342-20160625_192416_HDR1039146719.jpg I had to modify a exhaust hanger to a really short length
All in all very happy and an added bonus I had some rust holes in the stock one so I have a REAL reason if the wife asks! tmp_26342-20160625_201024_HDR-480398401.jpg

Installed a LED back up light as well as a siren/beeper (had a woman and a child run behind me at Walmart when i wad backing out, came within inches of hitting them) installed a under the hood LED strip lighting since there is no light source there, i guess the folks at Toyota believe their trucks don't break down when its dark out ......

Used some brass toilet bolts and 4 fender washers lol. It was about a 5 min job lol. Just run one washer inside the cleat track and the other one between the quick fist and cleat track. I just took a small hack saw to the bolts when I got them tightened down. 20160624_135604.jpg 20160624_135936.jpg

Shit dude I know the feeling!
Well I ended up trying to tap it out with a drill with my old lady's step dad.
Didn't drill it dead center all the through and snapped the carbon drill bit in the screw....fuck!
Took the old lady's car to Stiens and found the correct threaded screw and then found a bit for the Dremel tool and cut the aluminum around the bolt....

Removed the bolt ND used a thread cleaning kit to clean the threads in the cylinder head

Sanded it down flat enough and put a few washers to make up for lost material and I'm back in business. 1466905542832-32646737.jpg

Didn't actually have a dremel tool, but this fits in the end of a Dewalt drill nicely!

    Good luck bud

I keep the old bolt as a reminder that trying to just muscle through it isn't always the solution. Neither is hitting it with a bigger hammer.

That bumper is cool. I've been eyeballing some for a while, and yours takes the cake. Who made it?
