    i have 2004 Tacoma and when ac on air suddenly gets hot any suggestions

    Kings, SCS Wheels and other mall crawling crap
    does the air still blow and all speeds? if so, could just be just coolant low if your fan is working. that's the easiest route. other route is the compressor is shot.

    By "coolant" he meant refrigerant

    Heater problems: low engine coolant (antifreeze)
    A/c problems: low refrigerant (freon)

    That being said, it is never a bad idea to check your engine coolant (antifreeze)

    Montybay, would appreciate an update once you find the issue. I have a 2004 as well and would like to understand what happened.
