very nice. I like the color matched grille surround.

 

The only chrome on it is the grill and door lettering.

 

Looks great! I like the color match grills on the '16s. Ones without...not so much.



o another note...ever had one of those days where you are super excited to get home cause a part comes in the mail and you want to install it so you can use it. Well that was me today. New brake line for the FJ came today. Sadly it was the correct one, but it had the right fittings ao I could still use it. So go to bleed the brakes and...shit its not getting firm. Well yup the rear line across the axle has two small leaks. Luckily autozone carries a universal line with the right fittings so Ill pick it up. I just want to be able to drive the damn FJ around before I start tearing it apart

Good god want my truck back! I just wanna go wheeling sooo bad! It's been over month since it went into the shop. They keep putting it off the finish date weeks at a time, it's driving me nuts!

 

That place is awesome. Have a blast. At the opposite end of the entrance is a small trail into the woods to a stream. Take a look.

 

Forgot how much I liked funny rocks and moon rocks and found a much quicker way in, must have at least a rear locker or winch though to go this way. On the way home

Right after the really steep hill climb. Extremely loose dirt and watermelon sized rocks made it fun. Probably should have aired down before it but both my lockers barely got me up it.

 

Oh and @Nimitz my Kings will forsurely be forsale at the end of the month. Along with UCA's and stock LCA's. Or if anyone else wants them

On my way back from Yakima yesterday a semi kicked up a rock and cracked my windshield

Who has had to replace theirs? Any advice is appreciated.

 

Chipped or cracked? If it's chipped you can get it filled.

 

A semi truck kicked a rock up just and hit the corner - there is a tiny chip in the bottom by the logo crap. Can't believe how far the crack has gone.

 

Damn that sucks. Same thing happened to me a couple years ago. Split instantly

Red first gen SAS'ed runner/showing the obstacle from below. After we went a cherokee on 33's tried it and broke his rear driveshaft


Then he went to the crack for redemption (flopped on it last year).

I made it up the easiest of everyone (currently getting the video) because of the wheelbase being a bit longer, after I got up we yelled over to the Jeeps for their turn to try it, literally was dead silent. They didn't want to try it haha few minutes later they all left.


Then went to moon rocks




Group shot, they left to go run Lilly Pond. That was far out of my way so I exited right from moon rocks and took the mid summit trail down, took me exactly an hour to get aired up and back to Thorp.
