Niiiiiice. Supinated grip? I usually do somewhere in the 135 lb range and really slide it like I would a drag curl. I have done them at like 185 before, but I find that it's really easy to just end up pulling yourself to the bar. Underhand really puts the pressure on the bicep. Nice gains and long muscle bellies. You hae the potential to get BIG.

Preciate it! And yea, I normally do a reverse grip. Like one hand over, one under, but switched to this recently. I normally do 185 pretty easy. That's 205 in the picture and i can pull it 8-10 times before my form starts suffering.

When I do upper/lower, upper day is really long, so I just decided to throw the serratus exercise in with legs instead

Yeah, it was kind of a waste of time. Not sore at all today :pout: I'm going in this afternoon for 'upper b', but I might just do a full-bdoy workout instead. I remember why I train alone now...

    That guy was something else...

I don't ever go over 225 b/c either my back starts to round or I stop having good form. I like to bend over at almost a 90 degree angle and squeeze the lats like hell at the top of the exercise. That's hard to do with a lot of weight.

Truuu. I've been pretty well-behaved this weekend. I had Zaxby's last night, which is terrible for you, but other than that and a few vodka and tonics by the pool yesterday, I've been pretty good lol.

My buddy's birthday was yesterday and I only drank 4 beers, then someone showed up with Jell-O shots and many of those were consumed. Other than that I stayed pretty healthy this weekend

I was in the gym today and one of the guys in there that I haven't seen in a month or so goes "damn, you slimmed down for summer, huh?" I said yea, I've lost almost 20 lbs and he goes "but you kept most of your size?! Nice!"

Thinking about stopping weightlifting and switching to cardio in the morning. Then in the afternoon I would do a quick body weight routine. Trying to drop the last 10-15lbs for elk season. I am not worried about losing muscle in the process.

Well, I didn't make it to the gym yesterday evening...didn't even cut grass like I planned on. I had to read for school and when I got done, I decided to fire up the ol Xbox and played GTA V for like 5 hrs straight. Good news is I didn't eat bad. It's been like 100+ degrees here in GA the past week, so it's been pretty easy to stay inside and do nothing.

Also, I think the wife and I are going camping this coming weekend. @dwalden2, we're talking about heading up your way. Is it pretty packed on the 4th up there? I think we both feel the same about large groups of people...

The good thing about us camping is I won't be partying for 4 days straight like I usually do on the 4th weekend.

Every holiday it's pretty packed up here. If you want to camp at one of the popular spots like rock creek or cooper's creek or Noontootla, you better get here Wednesday or Thursday. If this past weekend and today at work are any indication, it's gonna be stupid in Blue Ridge starting Thursday or Friday.

I just got back from my honeymoon on Saturday night. 7 days of no diet restrictions and no lifting...and no TW. I gained 5 pounds (probably from TW withdrawal). I went and lifted Sunday after church though, and the weight was moving as smooth as butter. All of the carbs I had stored up during the week made my workout easy as pie (which I consumed a lot of in the past week). My goals leading up to the wedding were focused on weight loss while maintaining strength. Now it's time to re-evaluate my goals and see where I head next.

Glad to be back! I won't be able to read all the posts I missed, but someone please give me a brief re-cap of any zacharypaul laundry room selfies, dwalden vascularity and tacopaulo asian strength.

The gal and I have our 1 year anniversary coming up. We talked about it and decided to invest in a nice inflatable raft and kayak (raft for me and my dog, and kayak for her and her dog), rather than dumping money into dumb gifts or a dinner we could make better.

It sucks that it will be the 4th of July weekend but I guess the weekend can be much worse than floating and fly fishing a montane lake with spectacular views, happy puppies ans your significant other .
