    Morning all:
    Just mustering in!
Grass needs mowing, brakes on the 66 need fixing, need to replace cap, points, rotor, condenser, and wires on the 66, jet foot needs to be repaired, need to do some painting, and then there's still the darn bathroom I still didn't start on! :facepalm:I did get my new hunting lic. yesterday though, need to do the important stuff first!!
Also stopped at a bank that's changing hands to confirm/update my information, next month I need to contact SS, UNH supplement, PPL, and PayPal about an account # change at another bank that's merging. That needs to be done because of direct deposit for SS, and auto pay for the other three. :annoyed:

Had my 40' of sewer line "rooted". Now they tell me to wrap bare copper wire around areas that roots might penetrate and use 3" pipe, I installed 4" when I installed my system. Plus, as I was thinking about, but had no way to confirm, roots are heaving or pushing down my sewer line. Thinking (late), should have had someone dig up my line and replace, would have been cheaper than having it rooted. Slow thinker here.
Susan, might want to have someone check out your system. They still recommend pumping the tank every 5 or 6 years, even with me being single.
Out jogging early this AM, scared up some big birds, never saw them, must have been turkeys. Different area than where I camped a few weeks ago and saw that hen with chicks. Still redoing my firewood rows, placing new pallets on Redwood boards off of my deck project, have Oak/Mardrone, then my Sugar pine to stack. Getting close. Should have the Oak/Madrone done next day or so. All this hard work is better than working in a chair all day.

Just thinking, my septic made it 30 years so far without being pumped! I think it's due!!

Just saw 3 hen turkeys out in the yard with 8 chicks, there should be a lot more chicks, probably something got to either the eggs or the chicks.

    NO TIME TO FISH! :(
Got the grass mowed, well most of it , dug up a short drain pipe at the old garage and replaced it, replaced another short pipe that the rain spouting connects to, and asked the young guy I fish with to stop by today and help with bleeding the brakes on the 66.
All the cutting back of briars along the perimeter of the yard that I did this spring already looks like I hardly did anything!

    Hi Carl
Once a month in the summer I walk the perimeter with a chain saw held vertical at head height.
What ever comes down gets thrown away. Lol

A chainsaw, vertical, at head height!

    Here ya go!
Just went out to get the 66 ready to bleed the brakes----they work??????????????:confused::confused:
Last time I started it up, pedal went to the floor, and no brakes. Then I checked and there was no fluid in the master cyl., put fluid in, pumped them a few times, and still the same.
Figured I needed to bleed air out of the lines and look for possibly a leak somewhere, or the MC took a chit.
Don't know why they now work, but they somehow fixed themselves: FOR NOW!
Pushed on the pedal pretty hard and for awhile, it stayed the same. Figured if there was a leak it would push fluid out and the pedal would slowly move toward the floor.

Not a fishing fan, but sitting on the bank daydreaming

some lighter fluid and a match would fix that problem

    That's one way

Need to double check wheel cyl. Pull back the boots and check. The fluid went some where.
Plus no pedal and then hard could be a sign of a seal flipping in the m/c piston.
We have this wheel cyl issue once in a while because of extended sitting

NOPE! Every place that had a fire around here is way worse with briars after the fire than before!

    Thanks Mike!
Will need to keep an eye on that now. Realize the fluid had to go somewhere, but don't see any telltale signs of it leaking out. Years back I purged the lines and replaced all the wheel cyls. and the three rubber brake hoses when I switched over to silicone fluid.
Wondering if the silicone fluid could have affected the seal on the M/C piston, but that is the first place I looked, both inside the car and on the firewall to see if there was any sign of fluid leaking. I'll find the problem eventually, in the meantime I just need to remember where the emergency brake is! o_O
