Did you guys get the truck back together?

 

Yeah, we finally got her all back together!!

 

Awesome! Glad it was doable. Any rain this afternoon/evening. It got down to 69 degrees on my way home in the rain according to my temp sensor.

 

My wife walked in and caught me fapping to truck porn... Only have 7 videos, some are a little shaky due to my old ass caffeinated hands shaking, but my software should be able to clean it up a bit.

 

I'm afraid to ask what part of that sentence needs to be cleaned up...

 

Made it home with a clean truck!

 

got in at 3, unpacked, showered and crashed. BUT that bed beat the hell out of sleeping on rocks haha.

Hope you guys had a good time....and ill prob never see you again (nah jk, hopefully we could meet up again after the baby is born. I'll be moving in Jan, so we have time)

It was pretty cool last night tbh. Slept pretty good until the damn jeeps cranked their engines super fucking early again....

Mine almost looks cleaner then when I left thanks to the micro polish we applied quite heavily and then the rain.

Unfortunately not. Made it back across the state line and she started carrying off making noises and vibrating pretty bad. Apparently we didn't get the new ujoint fully seated and it ate itself up. I've got her back on the road now though!

 

howd it eat itself? you have to buy a new u joint and repress it it in?

 

'Member those needle bearings you were talkin' about? Lol. One of them fell in the cap and we didn't realize it, which didn't let the caps fully seat and I didn't realize it when I went to putting the clips back in, so it destroyed itself. My buddy that met me and trailered me back had a spare spicer ujoint at his house. Probably took me a good hour to replace having a shop and all necessary tools on hand lol.

Me too lol. I ended up detouring and going down towards Carrollton to try and scoot around it but still hit a few patches of some heavy rain. Surprisingly enough though I actually didn't get that wet. I kept watching the radar and it looked like you went through some pretty gnarly storms!

Yeah yeah, whatever!! I assume you'll be at the round-up? Or I guess you'll be a daddy by then probably?

Agreed, it was still pretty muggy when I got up in the tent but definitely ended up being pretty comfortable later on in the night/AM!
