Wife was nice - she has donated 1/2 bottle of acetone nail polish remover so I can mix with atf to make the home brew penetrating oil. Going to hit the u bolts on the leafs as a favor to the dealership (tsb happening tomorrow). Also need to start prepping the nuts/bolts in the front for the strut replacement.

Nice! That's exactly how I handle those stupid calls too. Most people invite me in for a drink and want to take pics. Haha.

Those of you with sprinkler systems heads up, sky drop wifi systems have a 50% off coupon for 4th of July on there site its $300 -50% with no tax and free shipping so $150 shipped, best I could find was $205 Amazon +tax. Also check your city pages for rebates, chandler does 50% of what you paid and this one is a model that qualifies. Skydrop.com

What do women call their powers? The one were, no matter how far away they are, they know the exact second you are falling asleep. Something like 'The Force' tells them they must call and either say "Oh, did I wake you, sorry. Go back to sleep." Knowing very well your will not be able to, or it is to ask the lamest things they already know the answer to, "Did I leave the stove on? Should I buy beer? Should I get bigger boobs"

I've been reading up on a few of the wifi ones, and decided to finally pull the trigger when I saw this deal, as I was already leaning towards this one as the one I wanted anyways. And same boat I got rid of the old timer when I redid the back yard, and I've been having to go and hand turn on the sprinklers so its lucky to get once a day watering right now hah.

I've been reading up on them also, there's a few of them.
Does the skydrop have a battery back up? Seems like an important feature. If I went with that one I'd need their add on system for another $50. I have 10 zones currently.

The Rachio says they have a back-up.
Also the Rain Machine looks interesting.

This guy reviews a few of them: http://thewifigarden.com/

I bought an Opensprinkler controller. Rock solid and you'll like it if your're a tech nut. It's open source so you can modify it if needed although I have never needed to. I have mine hard wired into my switch off of my router. I feel wifi is for things that move. I love that it uses weather underground for modifying the program times. It updates every 15 minutes or so. It will shut it off immeadiately when it rains. It uses the Zimmerman model for weather adjustment. It's not pretty but it works.
