Where did you get vinyl from? Was it difficult to install?

I do custom upholstery for a living, so this isn't something you just get online and install. I tore apart the covers and replaced pieces with the orange vinyl.

Thanks! I think it's pretty cool, and it's different. Nobody else on here has anything like that since it's custom.

I love the ARB bumper! It looks like it's supposed to be there. The wheels are OEM TRD Pro 4Runner wheels.

Do you have any more pictures of the bumper, like any from the side? I'm trying to figure out how far it sticks out.

How does that stuff hold up to a car wash. I know the experts say always hand wash but sometimes I am lazy and just want to go to the drive-thru wash and be done?

I've power washed mine with no issues. Over time it looks like it could start to chip and peel but so far I like it. Five dollars and some time and if you don't like it just take it off.

Very cool. Any concern about tear or pull from the two different materials sewn together where one isn't as strong as the other? Did you reinforce the seams with something?

My grill gets hammered with bug guts regularly do you think it would hold up to that?

Nah, the vinyl I use is marine grade, which is actually better quality than auto. I also scrim foam backed the vinyl. That will add extra strength even if it isn't needed. They will hold up great! I do similar stuff to other people's vehicles with a 20 year warranty.

I just removed 3lb of bugs off the front of my truck. RainX bug and tar remover works good. I have been using psalti dip for only a couple months so I can't say how it holds up in the long run but so far I likey.
Check out the what have you done to your 3rd gen today thread. Every other post is plasti dipping grills.

Got the topper on today. Also tried out a little plasti dip on the badges. Not sure I am ready to go at the grill just yet. Learned that wet plasti dip removes existing plasti dip. Missed a small spot on and edge and tried to touch it up with a q-tip and slipped, which caused an even bigger spot. Then learned that it is pretty easy to remove and redo.

There is something about a Tacoma that makes you want to add mods. I just came from a Tundra and really only added a couple of things but never had this excitement like I do with a Tacoma. Hope this one is as trouble free as the Tundra was.

    Next:
Thule tracks and such for the topper roof from our family owned bike/ski shop.
    Cali-raised/Apex stealth light bar setup.

Further down the road when the wife is not paying attention:
Coil over setup and a bumper.
    better skid plate
replace the body mounted steps with frame mounted sliders. (probably from Dark Horse Customs)

Nice lookin' topper man.. If you can lose that TRD sticker on the bed side and create a new one from Cboy808 then that would look even better.!!

    :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Inferno NEEDS black as an accent... not white and reflective silver..!!

    My 3 cents worth (CDN)..

I burned my finger putting on my oem roof rack today. I thought it was because I live in Phoenix and my roof was hot as a motherless goat when I did it but another TW member cautioned me not to touch the INFERNO! This color is sooooooooooo BA!!!!

I hope to be joining you all in the next week or so. Going through the paper work and whatnot this week. Trading a 2015 Rubicon for an Inferno Double cab off road. So nervous but excited at the same time. Had a 2007 base model single cab when I was 19 and lost it through financial hardships. Now Im 28 and in a wayyyy better place in life and always been chasing that Toyota! Cant Wait!!
