Check out RCI. I believe they do. They list prices for steel and aluminum.

A bow or limb saw is also pretty handy to have in case you need to clear limbs, branches. Candles, a couple of lighters and flashlight or headlamp too. Headlamp keeps your hands free.

All of these items are relatively cheap and I would get before getting bigger tires or thinking of lifting the truck. If anything, you can akways bump the shocks to 5100s and only go up just enough (0.85) to clear a 265/75/16 tire if needed.

Give tire rack or discount tires,a call to answer those questions. Helpful people and they don't just try to sell you tires. Once you have the info based on your requirements, look for the best price on the tires you think meet your needs.

I used to be a flashlight junkie until I got my first good headlamp! Headlamps all way around if you are actually working on something! A folding tree limb saw would be a good addition! Thanks.

I have a few of these bags of various sizes with different tools for different activities and just label them with Sharpies. Keeps the gear organized and I can add or remove the bags as necessity dictates. No reason to haul everything with you all the time, just carry the essentials for everyday and add bags as needed.

keeps things like tools, straps and small bits organized, also keeps things clean in the toolbox.

We will start offering skid plates next week. Might want to consider us for skids and sliders to save on shipping cost.

Will you offer an aluminum to cut down on weight? Just wondering if I'd have to upgrade the suspension to fully plate underneath.

110% agree with everything you just said.

I'm on the same page as you i mostly want my truck for kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and of course daily driver. So I'm definetly needing my truck for the same needs as you.

For the tires did you go with 265/70/17 or 275/70/17? And are they on stock? Would you be able to post pics? Sorry for all the questions man.

These are the largest tire sizes that will fit a Tacoma with a stock suspension:

    For 2016+ Tacomas: 265/70/17, 265/75/16 or 265/65/18

Nice thanks for the info brotha!

I think this is the first pic I've seen of sport wheels with bfgko2, they look good!

And if you don't mind me asking how much was it for the snugtop and what model is that one?

    Thanks again!

It's gorgeous, but it's so crowded and the traffic is crazy, but Denver is that way now, too. I'm just here temporarily until I can move further north, buy a small piece of land and build a tiny house on it (500-700sq ft.) I have zero desire to be tied down by a crazy mortage, ridiculous property taxes, etc. I don't want to be a slave to something that I'm spending all my time working to pay for but can't be there to enjoy. Makes no sense to me.

I hate to ask because I'm almost committed to the Wildpeaks but what kind of shoes do you have there?

I paid $2,007.14 for that shell with tax and installation. It's an ARE V-Series. Basically their "bottom of the line shell", and I added the carpeted headliner, folding front slider and windoors on both sides. The also make the CX-Series that is identical but has recessed side windows and a headliner included and would have only been like $20-$40 more than the V, but it's the same exact shell as the V-Series aside from the recessed windows. I just don't like the way ARE does their recessed windows. They look funky and like an afterthought. Happy with it so far.

BFG AT KO2's and went up one size from stock. Biggest you can go without rubbing if you don't have a lift. Very happy with them, they handle great, are as quiet as the stock tires were, but I do lose about 2mpg with them.

Awesome. I'm all about tiny house living. I would love to build one on a trailer and go mobile.
