Just curious, how much did it cost you to have it built?

For 700 there should be bends.

Draw a line from the axle to the mounts on the bedcage; It looks like the shock angle is going to be closer to 45* instead of 90

There's lots of designers that cant weld very well. And theres also plenty of welders that can't design very well. Brian might be #2

For 700 there should be bends, some hookers and a couple blow jobs

yea thats true but he built an old Ford ranger square body the ones that look like an F-250 and he cut the back halk off and built the whole rear and all the cages and everything and its a pretty gnarly truck so i feel like he knows how to design shit haha ill post a pic of the truck

If he's just using scrap he may not have long enough pieces to bend, but a stick of Dom is like $80. You may wanna drop the $80 so he can do it proper

I try to explain this people all the time, that statement is 100% not every iron worker can build a roll cage. That's what differs welders and fabricaters

I saw the tiny pic, but I never said anything about your fabricator. I don't know him not have I looked at his work. I agreed with a general statement that was made. I even made an excuse for the poor design work and gave you an easy cheap way to assure you get a cleaner product.

The problem with looking at a vehicle that someone builds for himself is that may not represent the work he does for his customer.

When I quote a job the quality of the product doesn't change based on the agreed price, but that's not the case with everybody. With some people the statement "you get what you pay for" rings true. Not saying that that's your buddy. That's just a general observation of the industry.
