Napa ones are like 70 something I think. Not too bad. I need to do my drivers side one soon, my outer boot has been blown for a while now

Hey guys, I am taking a road trip back home to Nebraska from Arizona and plan on stopping in/near Colorado Springs to break up the long drive. I won't be in my Tacoma, but I will be in my 4x4 Tundra (stock). Any recommendations on where to stay (open to camping or lodging), places to visit, and fish??? Thanks in advance.

Maybe I'll ask for your help when setting it up, Corey seems pretty frustrated with my shackle flip.

I have CVJ CV's with offroad boots. It was worth the cash. I have them building me two more set for my new Taco and my buddy's.

They rebooted my old ones for $100 with silicone off road boots. Now that was the cost of just all four new boots. I think Nacy at CVJ was hooking me up since it was my fault they started to rip. I had a 3" lift for a year before I put the extra weight up front and it started to rip the boots at such a high angle. I will tell you they are worth the extra price and there customer service was amazing.

So i'm switching out my leafs and my front bolt is seized, not moving, no way-no how. I'm planning on cutting it off early monday. What kind of hardware should I replace that with? What size bolt is it and can I just get some grade 8 from HD or should I go to the dealership? Thanks guys

I knew it was an issue and ordered one from Wheelers Offroad. I'm not sure if they list the bolt specs on their site though.

Thanks, ive found that the most likely correct answer is a grade 8 M14 x 1.5 x 100mm is the closest i can get

Ok I have a question for all you gun nuts... I'm looking to get my first handgun, and I'm torn between a .45 and 9mm. I had pretty much made up my mind on either a .40 or .45, so I went and shot both yesterday (m&P 40 and XDM 45) and liked the 45 better. I had basically settled on a 45, but then the guy at the range was trying to convince me I'd be better off going with a 9mm as my first (and at this point only) gun. My original thinking on the 45 was that I don't need to conceal (I mostly just want it for peace of mind while camping and target shooting so I'll either open carry or secure in the truck) so I might as well go with a bigger round. What do you guys typically carry when you're out and about?

    I usually carry my .40 or .9.
.45 is great, but you just need to find what you feel comfortable shooting and are accurate with.

Why did he say you would be better off with a 9mm?
I carry my .45 XDm compact. It's a 3.8" barrell. 9mm isn't gonna stop an angry bear unless you place your shots perfectly haha

His point was mostly about cost of ammo and that the stopping power increase isn't huge... But I don't plan on putting 1000 rounds down range every month at this point and I'm just as likely to run into an angry bear as an angry person, so I might as well have the stopping power for both haha

Not sure a 45 would do much more to an angry bear. Need a shotgun at that point.

Keep in mind a 45 shot at close range will stop the person plus anyone behind them. So you need to be careful with that one.

Or (worst case) when you shoot it in your house and end up shooting through your neighbors walls.

I saw a really interesting show on Sportsman Channel about all sorts or ammo and gun choices for home defense.
