2017 Trd Pro order confirmed today

still not convinced on the power rear sliding window, but anyway.

the jbl doesn't look promising. looking at the pics and the printout, they both match in just saying prem audio with nav/apps.

 

See, now that's fucking bullshit.

If I spend $45k+ on a truck, I want it loaded. I don't want to have to bring a brand new vehicle to a car audio place and have the stereo upgraded.

ESPECIALLY if I have to order something to be built, give me the option to purchase it.

 

I'm just curious, how do you buy something without a price. If they come back and say "ok, it's sixty thousand dollars" are you able to back out of the deal? Did you pay a deposit, or a chunk of the purchase price already? Is it refundable?

 

Im a Manager at a Toyota Dealership so Im pretty confident that $60K is a FAR STRETCH...Im still guessing around $42K ish...

 

I used that exaggerated number just to illustrate a point.

Nobody knows the price yet. Might be $40k, who knows.

 

Last round of TRD Pros went for just under $40k. I would not be surprised to see this version pushing $45k with options.

 

Well what options are available? Seems to me it only comes one way, take it or leave it.

 

Just because it isn't JBL means you have to get it upgraded?

 

Brand spanking new member here! I've been lurking for months though, love the site... Joined now to ask a question because I believe I've noticed something alarming. Post #104 with the images of spec sheets for 2017 models, am I correct in noticing that there is now going to be no manual transmission option for 2017 TRD OR? It would make sense for Toyota to make that available only on TRD PRO only to entice people to spend the extra money to get a PRO. Trying to see if I should scramble now to get a 2016 TRD OR w MT rather than waiting for the 2017's as I intended. MT is what I want for sure... thanks in advance for any and all guidance!

 

The brochure and feature list shows "entune premium audio". PRO's have zero options in that respect. I tried and lost. Non-JBL audio SUCKS.

I bought from them and didn't have an issue. I would have bought from Yokem but JH is closer to my house and they called me back quicker than Yokem. That is in no way a knock on Yokem. It was more about convenience. The salesman I spoke to sounded like he would have done everything possible to get me what I wanted.
