Wanna lose weight fast? Corn dogs. I swear, I actually did this when I was about 10 years younger... don't think I would now because of the stress it puts on your body, but I ate 3 Foster Farms microwaved corn dogs per day, with mustard, and drank Vitamin Water (and beer) for 30 days straight. Lost 50 pounds, no shit. Everybody was amazed. So was I. Of course, it didn't stay off because I hadn't really changed anything for the better as far as ongoing diet, but it sure as hell worked as a super quick way to lose weight. Like I said, too old to risk it now, would probably have a heart attack from the sudden shift. But, it sure made doing dishes easy!

Three corn dogs a day? You didn't lose weight due to the corn dogs, you lost weight due to consuming ~1500 calories less than what an athletic person should intake in a day.

Right, but I think the reason it worked psychologically (was able to stick to it) is because I was getting a bit of carbs in the breading and a bit of protein in the hot dogs. That's my theory anyway. It was the lowest calorie item I could find that still supplied both.

May have to try the recipe. The thing I always find funny is when recipe's say it will fool your family type of stuff. NO. NO it won't while it may be a good substitute for whatever reason it's being used (gluten, carbs) and so on. It's not the same thing. I have tried all different recipes for these and most of them turn out like I'm making a pizza omelette which isn't as good as it may sound. :) If this one has some crispiness though it could be better have to give it a try.

Just looked it up... Apparently Raclette can refer to more than just the cheese. Ok then!

I work like a dog, and am usually home only every two weeks. I like to eat like a king when I'm home. Did some 2" thick t-bones last weekend. Local Marc's had charcoal on sale, so I bought 120 pounds. Really been into risoto lately, as well.

Yes, originally it was the name of the cheese that the shepards melted on the hot stones around their fire pit to put on their food. Then it evolved to where the stones were replaced by griddles and called raclette griddles, even though most people don't even use raclette cheese. We use raclette, cheddar, gouda and swiss just to get some different flavors. Montery jack, mozzerella and muenster also works good, although we did not have it this time.

Super easy. Just salt and pepper on the chicken. Fry in butter (about 4 tablespoons) in cast iron skillet. Remove chicken. Fry chopped onions in skillet. Add more butter if needed. Add chopped veggies of your choice. I did potatoes and butternut squash. veggie spices to taste. Put chicken on top. Mix 1/3 cup criracha sauce and 1/3 cup brown sugar and pour over chicken. Bake in oven at 400 for 30 minutes.
