    So after searching for months for an upgrade for our current Tacoma we finally bought a new SUV.

    Now before you judge we shopped around and looked at new Tacoma TRD off roads, 4Runner trail editions, FJ cruisers, jeeps and Chevy Colorado diesels.

    the only two rules were this new truck had to offer more interior room than our regular cab tacoma(pretty easy) and also be able to go the same places if not further in completely stock form.

    The winner and best bang for the buck was

    Honestly dude you done good. Going extreme with a jk is a lot easier and less costly than a Tacoma. Replacing the stock jk axles with one tons and stretching the wheelbase is not that huge a chore as compared to a Tacoma where you pretty much have to reinvent the truck in the process. I miss my jeep sometimes.

    I don't know how extreme we are gonna go lol, but I am sure overtime it will happen. The selling points for me was aftermarket parts are dirt cheap and that it came with front and rear lockers factory VS just rear on the Toyota trucks. The list right now is storage drawers for the rear, a roof rack and tent.

    That's probably what he's going to call it because the sheeple on Youtube are demanding it, but I'm calling it Lily White to match Ryan #3's Betty White. :rofl:

    I thought calling it the White Nite (Knight) would be cool especially as the replacement for the Black Horse, but he's gonna opt for the unimaginative option. :p

    Brings me memories. Mine had a 2.5" lift and 35s. Yea lifts are dirt cheap but the good parts are always gonna be more. Smittybilt and tuffy have nice storage stuff for them. If I could go back I would have picked up some one ton axles from a junk yard and used the artec trusses to swap them in and been done. Message me if you have questions.
