The only reason they are willing to do it is because they will make a profit on the transaction. As they should if they know their business.

Thanks , I'm excited for it to arrive this weekend. I plan to take the 4 runner for a long test drive before I sign the final papers. Something I didn't get the chance to do with my Tacoma .
I got to drive one very similar but mine came from a dealer transfer.
The one that I drove was a trd sport and it handled much better and I didn't notice the transmission issues. Then again I didn't notice it on mine for a week or 2

    Hi there,

Thanks for all the feedback. Thought you should know I bought a white 2016, DCSB, 2WD, TRD sport last night. I've only driven it 100 miles so I dont have much feedback, but so far so good. :)

    You mean V6.

Test driving the 3.5 on the 16s, they are lacking power and slower than the previous 2nd Gen. Tranny keeps trying to find itself like Bruce jenner in the city.

If you want one new, you have to get one right now that's on the lot. AFAIK, there are no more MGM in the production line anymore. Getting the 17s ready

Yea I just noticed that. I'll probably end up waiting a little while longer and see what the 2017 Tundra line up offers.

I like me some Barcelona Red :D. Its not quite inferno, but Toyota's Barcelona red is still one of my top color choices on a new Toyota.

No, I mean V8. My previous truck had a V8 and the 4.0 and 3.5 both "lack" power by comparison. I keep seeing you guys commenting on how much slower it is than the 2nd gen but I have yet to see evidence of that, aside from that joke of a video The Fast Lane Truck put out.

I myself drive a 2013 and they DO have more "umph" than the 2016 from my experience. That said....I also have a "rule" I live by (learned the hard way more than once)...."NEVER BUY THE FIRST YEAR RUN OF ANYTHING!!....there are ALWAYS bugs to work out". Just my $0.02.

It's definitely is slower. I was having to push skinny harder or tranny hunting to maintain speed. So much for fuel efficiency when you have 4 passengers. A 26 mile one way netted 17 mpg at 65mph freeway on cruise. I feel like it has to work harder with load or elevation changes.
