I'm the process of building one of these (similar to All Pro style). Anyone have idea an how many cans of spray paint to paint these roughly?

Depends. I used maybe 3/4 of a can? BUT, with that being said, it definitely needs another coat or two (ETA: or 4 or 5, I've already laid it into a few trees haha), so I'd say at least 2 cans if not 3!

I've been following this thread as lurker for a long time... Just completed a hybrid bedrack tire carrier combo... It keeps the overall length of the vehicle down by not having the tire so far out. Holds the RTT, spare, 2x2gallon Rotos, 2x1gallon Rotos, Shovel, Axe, Jack. Still tweaking some things including fold-down table, lights, gussets, etc.

There are some more crappy cellphone "in-progress" shots on my build page.

Can't tell from the pics but are the crossbars on the bed rack removable? Just in case you need to haul tall items. Either way, nice looking bed rack!

They do bolt on, but the sides really need them for support. You could probably get away with taking the back two of for moving something and leave the front one on to support.

Neat! I was under the impression that the front one is welded on?

I already plan to go with a CBI rear bumper...may have to look into their bed rack as well. Been looking for one that will allow me to haul tall items when needed without having to remove the whole rack.

    Thanks for the info.

CBI's rack is rad! Almost decided to go that route myself when I saw them in person at Overland Expo... I'm sure you'll be happy with their products.

So I took my first attempt at welding... The welds are not pretty but they seem strong.

I also added fork mounts for my mountain bikes.
