not yet. we are waiting for our comfirmed campsite where blm wants us to be. however we gave them info of where we want to be. blm has approved us for 50 trucks for the event. we are mapping this year so we can make guided routes next year, however you could also go out on your own. right now i have 4 trucks coming to prerun. would like 8. if you want more info on what we do you can check www.raddrives.com click the roc section. its the offroad part of the site. its my friends and i that put these on. we carry all the proper blm permits and insurance for these events

No official plans yet, but might camp somewhere in the Grandby area this week if anyone would be interested.

Rabbit ears pass also looks really dry and might explore that area as well.

So, prior to @Reh5108 arriving, I discovered that Little Muddy Creek trail is a foking mud-fest. Its 10 miles of huge ruts and holes, most with slick as shit mud. The bypasses are as bad or worse than the obstacles. Somehow managed to get out of that fun stuff...

Tried to work my way around the huge hole after going around the last crazy thing and slid into the abyss...

On more than one occasion the front tires were in one set of ruts and the rears in the other... no choice, it did what it wanted. I cannot imagine this place when its actually wet out! Other trails in the area were pretty dry but this thing must hold all the water.

(Note the water line on the front door... went through a mud hole only to get stuck, went to put it in 4low, and I was in 2wd. 4wd got it out, but that crap was deep. I got an ok video I'll have to edit.)

Then we did a rally trail, and then Rocky something or other. Which was clear for the first half, then it was nothing but downed redwoods and sequoias. A bow saw, sawzall and a chainsaw... we hacked our way through 20-30 trees, if not more. My arms and legs look like I scrubbed them with barbed wire. But the trail is open!

Anytime! Without @Reh5108 and his chainsaw... not much would have been cleared since my arms and bow saw blade would've given up shortly after chopping a few of those monsters.

so is this more of a go fast track or an overland style trip? i.e. is it something us fat pigs who don't trophy truck our rigs? or tailored more toward LT built rigs?

i've seen some nice multi-day routes north up to the dunes...seen trips done with land cruisers, so they were on a slower pace, but looked like a great trip

From looking at the website he posted, I would assume it's more of a go fast run.

    Stuff and junk and things...

It looks like it's tailored toward Raptors, which are fire road runners. You or any tacoma could keep up just fine.

FWIW I'm not down to pay someone to show me around my own state.
