    Hello my fellow toyota lovers!!
I wanted to see if maybe you guys are familiar with the difficulty my tacoma is having. The a/c wasnt working about 5 months ago so they told me to clean out the filter and the fan, it worked for a bit then about 2 weeks later it stopped working again. I replaced the fan and now it works. The only thing is that it won't blow as hard as it used to when we first bought it. Someone told me that replacing the switch would be a fix but i wanted to get other opinions? Its an 07 tacoma base model with access cab.

My compressor seized on me and I've been out of AC for almost a year. Oh well..

Are you having a problem with your AC not blowing cold, or your blower fan not blowing at all? If it's the blower fan, you may need a new blower resistor. It's a common problem on 2nd gen Tacomas.

I am AC less - the untraceable leak will dump a fresh charge in about a week but no one can find the tracer die which leads the shop to think it's evAp behind the dash.... Which requires complete dash removal to replace. Which means I'm using 4-70 AC.

Barely realized a lot of you repied, thank you so much for all your information, what happened was my a/c plug to the fan in the cabin has melted. So had to buy a whole new wiring harness and plug, fixed my issue.
