Yes I have compared it to the 43. I feel the XDS is a superior gun to the 43, but it is definitely hard to beat the blue label $358 price and night sights for $411

Does anyone's wife purse carry? I made a MIC with an off hand thumb release bc she didnt wanna string attached the the inside of her purse and clips are useless in there. Its not the greatest but better than mascara gettin in the trigger gaurd and blowin an unwanted hole in somethin.20160626_154220.jpg

My Aunt has been talking about getting a .380 to carry in her purse because it's smaller than her old 38 special.
I'm personally not a fan of purse carry because of the likelihood of someone just grabbing the purse (Then they have the gun) and also it's not very accessible very quickly.

Do you realize how quickly most women can find something in purse? Especial older women. Also it adds weight to them using the whole purse as a swinging weapon.

My MIL has a carry purse. Her .25 sits in its own special pocket that velcros closed. She can get that thing out quickly.

Well she doesnt always dress to carry on her body but she will always have her purse so atleast she will be carrying. The chance of her needing to pull (especially cansidering im usually out with her) are very slim, and then even slimmer of a purse snatch, plus this is a cross shoulder

No kidding. My grandmother had a purse the size of a duffle bag and she could stick her hand in and grab you a butterscotch candy in nothing flat without even looking. If she ever wanted her Ladysmith, she'd find that in a hurry too, lol.

I agree, I went through 6 different pistols with my wife before she was finally convinced that she needs to wear a belt and carry it concealed on her side.

I did my best to try to sway her towards a G26 but she said the XD sub compact fit her hand the best so that`s what she`s been carrying for the last few years.

The end result of going through several that she would not carry is I ended up with a few more.:D

Have you had any problems with the screws backing themselves out on these holsters? Either on the kydex or the ones that retain the clip to the backing.

It seems like with mine I have to double check them at least once a week. I've lost one screw completely, but luckily the holsters come with spare pieces

The one for my glock is pretty good and the screws stay seated. The other 2 the screws do exactly as you explain, I've lost one as well

Have you checked out a Springfield XDs in 9mm? That's what I carry and I love it.

Must be nice! I just sent my buddy a text telling him the G43 would best suit is CCW needs. Unfortunately it's not on CA's roster so he'll have to settle for a different Glock or pay an absurd amount for a PPT. Gotta love CA's handgun roster

I guess I'm always the last to know. Will be shooting a shield, G43, and LCP next weekend to see how my wife likes them. I probably let her make her own mind up.
