Did you try ordering straight from ar500?

This is such coincidence because I'm looking at the urban go plate carrier and level III plate package getting ready to make the order

I was going to but they have a 10-11 week lead time.
I'm going to cancel the order and buy from a different vendor, I bought a savage 308 on impulse from a pawnshop today.

Bought a plate carrier so I have a vest to wear when hiking (Lots of acreage, trespassers are common, and the sheriff deputies I have talked to encouraged me to carry a radio and spare mags, with the option to add a camelback) and also I want to take some carbine classes and a plate carrier seems like the way to go with that.

So it's a few different reasons.

This is the 308 I bought, pretty excited to go fill out the paperwork and pick it up tomorrow.

    Ok I gotcha.

My dad has one but his is Just a regular wood chassis. Helped him zero in his scope last October when I was home on leave. I liked it a lot.

G10 grips for the 227 came in today. I have small hands and these help a lot. Nice and grippy but not shredders.

It was 100% an impulse buy but I know savage rifles are usually pretty good, and it was cheap enough to take a chance.

My apologies. It's always been Life, Endowment, Patron, Benefactor. It appears they're marketing the "Endowment Level Membership" as "Patriot Life" to you, probably market testing to figure out if it's more effective. I suppose Patriot Life does sound more exciting than Endowment. I wonder if they'll look into changing The name for the Patron level as well.

I've never been disappointed with any of the ones I've owned, and I've got 5 or 6 right now. They've always been shooters.
The worst one for accuracy that I have is a Savage 64 semi in .22, and I honestly think it's mostly the cheap scope it's got on it. But it'll still shoot minute-of-squirrel at 50 yards (where I've got it zeroed). :notsure:
