Yes, pressure switch that came with Compressor,
Don't have drain valve yet. but I do plan on getting on., tank has 3 different sizes, so It will depend how it is oriented under vehicle as to which one I use..

Got an appointment with Caliber Collision Friday morning. Guy sounded like they might be able to work with me on the 2012 parts I have. We will see what they say

 

do you have a check valve and pressure relief for the line from pump to tank ? check valve to keep air from pushing back into pump, and relief to vent line so pump isn't starting against pressure (aka head pressure, thats the hiss you hear when a full size compressor shuts down)

Explain

 

once compressor has filled tank, and shuts down, the air pressure IN the tank can push back on the pump, to stop this there needs to be a "check valve" one way valve allows air into tank from pump, but not back into pump. this valve is generally mounted on top or in some cases side of tank.

then once the pump stops, the line from pump to tank/check valve is pressurized, the pump will struggle to over come the pressure on initial start up, so venting the line "head pressure" is what needs to happen once the pump shuts down. When you hear a normal compressor run and shut down, you'll in most cases hear a "Hissss" just after the pressure switch shuts the motor off, this is venting the head pressure for the next start up run.

there are a few ways to handle this, in some cases one piece can handle check and vent duties. depends on your tank bungs and where/how you have things mounted.

I have a few different check valves that may work for what you need, I'll get pics
