@FirstGen Jer has some 2nd gen wheels on his 1st gen. I think he used spacers to clear them. Could be wrong though.

Would help to know what size tires you plan on running but Those wheels have 5.25" back spacing and will clear the calipers fine. At least mine do. But depending on what size tires you plan to use you might have issues with uca and possibly frame rub.

Appreciate the response. I am open to adding the largest tires that will not rub or run into issues with UCA. Any idea what size tire that might be?

    Thanks

Just bought those same wheels a couple months ago for $ 200 - they are 16" w/5.25 backset. My tires are 265/75 /16 , hope this helps.

1st-gen 16" wheels will work fine. Thats what I'm running.

I am looking at the same thing. Guy is asking $200 for the set of four wheels. I think they should fit with my 265/70/ R16s I might put winter tires on the stock rims and keep these setup as summer tires.

if keeping stock size everything should fit fine and clear. as @FirstGen Jer mentioned if you up the tire size you will run into some rubbing

If you're buying off Craigslist or whatever be sure you're getting the 16". They came in both 16" and 17". My 2008 4Runner has the 17" which probably is too big for factory 1st gen Tacoma. I do know the 16" will work fine.

that style was the 16", the 17" was a 5-star/blade style like this:

and again, if you go with stock size tires there will be no issues. :)
