Ok....well, to be fair....some of you guys with issues are as guilty of spreading negativity as some of the non-problem guys are of drinking the Kool-Aid.

That said....I do believe there are people who really aren't having any issues with their '16s.....even if you "problem" guys don't believe it.

 

I haven't had any issues but if/when I do, I wont get on the internet and cry like a baby about it, I will take responsibility because I`m the one that made the purchase not everyone else and I will do what I have to do to get it fixed.

 

It's what we did before there were internet forums. We were able to figure it out then, no reason to think it can't still work.

Sorry for the late reply. DCSB is short for Double Cab Short Bed. My 97 5 speed regular cab was a Tacoma yes. Loved that truck. Frame rusted all the way through and I miss it every day.

Nope, just a happy owner. There were just so many threads complaining about the trucks that I created one to appreciate them. I've had issues to some degree with all my Vehicles at one time or another I was more than anything referring to the whines about squeaky shocks, wind noises and other shit that's typical of trucks and the normal clan came out to cry like normal. Carry on, I'm all laughs

Aren't you waiting on a 4Runner instead?

Rumor has it the same 3.5l and AT in the 3rd gen Taco going into the 4Runner sometime in the near future, not sure if it's the 18 or sooner.

 

@moab4x432 is getting a Made in Japan TRD Pro 4.0 4Runner. I don't think he will take a 3.5L if someone gave him one for free.
