    Hey guys

I am taking a road trip back home to Nebraska from Arizona and plan on stopping in/near Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak to break up the long drive. I won't be in my Tacoma, but I will be in my 4x4 Tundra (stock). Any recommendations on where to stay as far as camping with some water near by to do some fishing. More secluded/remote the better. I am leaving Tucson this Thursday. Thanks in advance!

There is some camping and fishing out near 11 mile canyon by Lake George about an hour west of Co Springs. There are campgrounds in the canyon as well as free dispersed camping in N.F. outside the canyon, it's not really secluded as it will be pretty crowded from here until late fall. You will need to purchase a Co fishing license.

Depending on what day you'll be in the area, I have plenty of room to camp on my property which backs to N.F. and I have my own private lake stocked with brookies as well as a main common lake that's stocked with rainbows and browns. You'd be welcome to camp, fish, and grab a shower before you head back on the road. No license needed since it's all on private property.
