That reminds me of the house i was renting before i bought, the garage was just big enough to fit the truck in and it backed up the an access road right off the highway. I would close the door before taking a piss.

Wow, depressing and sad commentary in here right now. I left for the store yesterday with both my garage doors up and keys for the other rides sitting there. I didn't even think twice about it.

Thats my attitude most of the time. Usually there are people outside working on their own projects around me so if someone was to get cheeky and try to steal something they would be seen by probably half the block on any given day. I dont worry about it near as much as i used to when i lived by a highway.

I used to lock my car up in my parents' garage and would still lock the doors. I could be outside washing the truck and will lock it just to go take a piss.

So anyway, I installed this a while back.

Had to buy a basin wrench to get the old one off.

And apparently the Moenstone stuff my sink is made of was a lot heavier duty than I was expecting. It was kind of cementitious. Well it destroyed my hole saw....

I know OZ would probably tear this apart but I was pretty happy with the outcome. Specially for my first decking project. We're renters and our landlord paid for the cheapest wood so we did what we could with the end result. :) I'm glad we expanded the decking though, it opened up a whole new sitting area.

The lack of cooling in the shop was causing a bunch of projects to stack up, so I scrounged up some more scrap from the back acreage and spent 30 minutes running some (probably) temporary swamp ducting.

    IMG_20160628_0956446.jpg

With a cooler shop, I was able to replace the shaft bearing on the vintage Porter Cable 126 planer I inherited from my grandfather.

    IMG_20160628_0956219.jpg

I was then able to use the planer to clean up and reshape other scrap lumber to make the door frame for my compressor shed. Here's the resulting pile of man glitter.
