After having a set of their tires on my Foxbody, because they were suppose to be the cats meow, Ill never try a Nitto product again. Now I know that's being a little harsh as I am comparing street tires to an off-road tire, but that's just how poorly they performed. I'm unwilling to fork over "name brand" prices for a subpar tire.

However, if you try them keep us posted...lol

I ran a set of 35x12.5 Mud Grapplers on my old Dodge and loved them, not the best for noise/mileage but you don't buy that style tire and expect either of those things lol

    Lift on Hold!

    Ok,

Unfortunately I had to spend my lift money!

I just bought new 17" SCS Ray10's for my vehicle 2016 TRD OR 2WD that will replace the 16" stock rims.

I wanted to get the 285/70/17 BFG KO2 tires with a lift but want to know what are the biggest tires from BFG KO2 that I can put on these 17" rims with my truck looking aggressive and beefy without the lift without issues. I know a place here in SA, Tx would charge me $750.00 for the install, balancing and alignment plus the 2 1/2" front and 1" rear daystar lift! then I would buy the 285's.

    Anyway, what ever advice thanks!

Off Road tires wise they make a good tire. Terra Grapplers are pretty stellar and hold up real well. My buddy has nearly 60,000 on his and they don't look too bad. Same goes for the Trail Grapplers. The Mud Grapplers wore too fast and got loud as crap. My Rubicon sounded like a WWII war plane coming down the road once they started to wear. On a Jeep Rubicon I only got about 25K off of these before they were starting to look like Bologna skins. I got rid of them at 30K. On a heavier truck I would say you'd get half that life. I am willing to bet this new tire is a well functioning tire. My biggest gripe with Nitto is their price point but I would not rule them out because of a bad experience with a street tire.

Looks good. I have been contemplating tinting my windshield as well. Black interior in SC is just unruly! I would go real light but I am still concerned about nigh time visibility.

Thanks for the compliments on the brackets! We spent alot of time making sure they were dont correctly and had to completely redesign our 05-15 mount due to the changes in hood design to ensure no shaking and still 100% bolt on install with zero trimming. Be sure to include your username when you place an order to get the TW discount. We also stock all the AOB switches for the 05-16 Tacomas

On my previous civic I had 35% all around and 50% on the windshield. I drive in rural areas and people drive with their brights on frequently and sometimes forget to turn them off. The tint was helpful in those situations and bright headlights (LED or HIDs) allow for good visibility even with a tinted windshield. I wouldn't go darker than 50%.

Yeah I was concerned about the nighttime visibility as well. I went the very lightest tint shade avalible and I was driving around last night and I could see perfectly fine... If not better.. Having the front windshield tinted actually cuts down the glare of on coming headlights..

My windshield is at 70%. Looks badass from the outside and doesn't reduce visibility at all. keeps all that UV light out in the hot summers.

Yup, I've used carista and my OBDII wifi module to change most of those settings, but the one I can't find is the open door with engine running ding. That's what made me believe it was setup differently than other computer controlled settings.

Had the dealership look at the transmission fluid and grease the driveline. They said the fluid level was fine......:fingerscrossed: they actually checked it properly. Now it's time to start modding!

I run a large Fender PA system off of mine no problem. The thing pulls a lot of power and is super loud. I've had two microphones, a bass guitar, and two guitars running through it off my truck at full blast without a hitch. I love it!
